You haven’t done well AT ALL unless those gains are realized and that cash hits your bank account.

There are PLENTY of fantasy millionaires out here.

ETA: Remember Bail INS in Cyprus? They WILL be coming back soon. Those who forget the past....

I'm aware. I paid a good portion of the down payment on my condo back in 2012 off market gains following the real estate bubble. This 2020 crash was another opportunity of a lifetime and I was ready for it.

Glad to hear. Now don’t get greedy and go ahead and realize those gains since last March and you can go out on top. Not many will be so fortunate and will continue believing the big lie of it all. Everything in this game has now changed and if people can’t see it NOW, they NEVER will.

So it's only corrupt with regard to AMC, or every stock? If you think it's corrupt with regard to every stock, go take a seat next to Hussss over there.

I believe the system is corrupt where it wants to be... meaning, I don't think there is corruption in every single sale or thing that goes on. I do feel you can be opportunistic and take advantage of events or crashes such as the housing crash, the corona virus, etc. which can give you some major bumps and then play behind the scenes the rest of the time making 10 to 15% per year. That's smart investing honestly.

However, what I mean by the system is corrupt... big money does what big money wants. Ignore AMC... look at the housing crash, the corruption in that whole mess was nuts... If they want to short a stock then have "experts" put bad news out so the price goes down then they do. I say that because if a bunch people on reddit want to band together and hold a stock then what do I care. Big money manipulates prices all the damn time so whatever...

Agreed. This whole pearl clutching from the govt around GME/AMC and the need to regulate trading because they think people are making bad choices with their money is fricking absurd. At some point the govt needs to let people be responsible for themselves and stop trying to legislate legal behaviors "for their own good".

It’s struggled at these levels in the past few months. Got to $14 or so and completely crashed in March. Got to $12 and change, TheOcean bragged about it, and it promptly lost 25% in the next week or so in late April.
