They also keep saying that it's one of, or the most shorted stock, on the market. Despite the fact that that's not true. It's not even close. Their ability to delude themselves is impressive.

So legitimate question...

What do you think the stock will realistically do this year? You think it will be $14? $5? $10?

I'd likely go with what the professionals are projecting as a price target. The median is $2 and the average is $4.44. So probably $5? Which would be a bloodbath for many from the first few pages of this thread.

Not sure which professionals you are referring to, the ones on tv? The brokers i know personally believe its a $8 to $13 stock over the next year. With more theaters opening and more big movies scheduled to release, its going to get better and better. Now if they get approval and add 500M shares then of course that can change a lot.

But let's say $5 per share is legit, I am still ok with that risk. I am playing with house money so if that happens ok my life doesn't change... however if a squeeze happens, well depending on the size my life changes.
And if it stays between $8 and $13 then I walk away pretty indifferent.

I will continue to say, I wouldn't bet my house on a squeeze happening nor would I try and predict a squeeze price. However there are too many things that can't easily be explained with common sense around AMC such as how does it make sense to have over 3 million individual retail investors and only 350 million shares spread among them. If those numbers are true then nobody can convince me there isn't shady shite going on.... and when that stuff is going on then you have opportunity. Corruption, natural disaster, pandemics, politics, etc all create windows of opportunity. Sometimes you get lucky and are able to jump on that wave. Sometimes you miss your sets.

Unless you are shorting AMC you should want the price to go up... that means retail investors are making money. Not sure why anyone who doesn't have money in AMC would be happy to see it go down, just odd to me. ?????

Lol if amc goes back to pre pandemic levels the stock would be literally worth like a dollar.

The business part of amc is completely disconnected from it's current share price.

The finance sites, which compile them and offer a low, high, and median.

Yahoo finance has:

Not sure. You'd have to look it up.

Yeah, I bought 50 shares just because of FOMO and fortunately I haven't lost much. May just take a small loss and move on.

Yeah. That would put it just outside the top 120 stocks in terms of short fee borrow rate. What's your point?

Here you go. I don't have the premium, so it only shows the stock that holds the top spot.

Borrow rate at 73.2% only 700 shares available. I would think this is a good sign?

I noted yesterday I don't have the subscription to fintel, but if the short borrow rate is 73.25%, AMC is not in the top 250 stocks for likelihood of a short squeeze. Though I would wager someone here does have the subscription and could confirm. Short volume ratio is below 25% still. That's the most important data point IMO.
