Why do you keep talking about citadel? They hold puts but also a bunch of calls.

There are two pretty distinct conclusions on these plays IMO - first and foremost, did you get the direction and timing right?
My cost average is $10/share. What do you think?

LOL! Slackster & Chitstain have been telling us all, FOR 6 MONTHS that we are making a big mistake by buying AMC stock. They know better than the people with 400-500% gains. They smart! We dumb! They spend hours each day, looking up data, articles, etc.. that prove their point. Even though, they don't have any financial interest. They must be one of those good Samaritains I've heard about. We should listen to them and take their advice, like buying $7.50 puts .....oh wait. Maybe that's not a good idea. My retarded brain can't seem to comprehend that my account says it's worth a WHOLE lot more than it was.

I just may have to have another adult beverage and try not to think about just how stupid I am for buying and holding this stock. After all, these two seem to be pretty sure holding this stock is a really bad idea.

Define logic... this is a pump and dump pure and simple. Lots of money can be made in the pump. However most people including myself do not know when to sell. This is why I have no position in this stock.

I am surprised it got all the way to 70. I underestimate how many people play the lottery

The underlying business is probably worth less than 5 dollars a share even with a full recovery due to dilution. So I dont want to be holding when it eventually corrects to that.

When that is, who knows
Keep trying! You are not quite to the level of Slackster and Chitstain, but it's good to see you are trying!

Here's another Tomahawk Chop for you, since you seem to not haven gotten enough lately.

Care to guess what happens when AMC joins the Russell 1000? I bet Slackster may know, but Chitsain probably is still rolling his turds into little balls.

Here, I help you out with a hint: Index funds.

I've now decide to take the high road, and attempt to help out my naysayer friends. Buy as much as you can tomorrow. This is setting up to be a very big week. Current price is cheap considering where it is going.

Hope you are right. I’ve taken a slightly different path in this but it’s lead me to a point where I’ve taken a ton of profit and can simply sit back and enjoy the ride with several hundred shares bought around $10. This one has a worldwide cult following now. Many will buy just to be a part of that.

And I get that free popcorn

It means there are 44,000 option contracts that are currently being held by buyers who have the option to purchase AMC for $145/share on 6/11/21. Each contract gives you the right to purchase 100 shares. You pay a premium to purchase that option, but the 100 shares per contract gives you a lot of leverage. It’s either a bet that the stock will go higher than that by that date, or it’s a hedge to protect a short seller on the upside.

When are you baws looking to sell? I don't want to get caught not taking profits. Didn't get in nearly as low as many of you.

Sounds like a good thing to me.

I have no idea yet when im going to sell Im at 100 shares at $20 cost. While a few K profit would be nice im luckily in a position where I don't "need" that. So my risk tolerance is higher to let it possibly go higher for more profit or get stuck.

It means Slackster is being a little pessimistic about the future of AMC, by making a joke about call options for Friday. For some reason, a stock that's up over 1000% for the year is still a joke to a few of the guys around here, and if AMC doesn't hit 100k price point, they are going to "win" an internet argument, no matter if you made 500% in just 2 weeks.

Huh?

I explained exactly what they are. Call options are used to make bullish bets and they’re also used to hedge downside risk if you’re short.
