Flop are you reading the North Caddo threads? Looks like the cat got out of a bag over on the plantation and the company man is trying to catch it? ....Lots of shady crap going on with these O&G companies! Don't know why they would worry about covering up info leaking out about a "sand well" do you? I am sure some of the experts will have an answer?

He enjoys this mental masturbation exercise that he presents to us,there again.. no content.Not being mean here just sayin.....Of course,nothing personal EG but it occurs to me as if you just don't get enough attention elsewhere.You should be busy enough to not have time to trifle with any of this .....so why bother?
Why would you bother? Surely a man of your education and employ would have better use of his daily minutes.
Seems to me he's just enjoying a good scotch and a cigar while he plucks a keyboard and lives his quiet life of desperation.
Prove me wrong and write something cohesive, centralized,informative and cut to the freakin chase.
You remind me of a frustrated writer that wonders why he never gets published, all the while it's more than obvious to everyone else.

CB I am starting to hear some more chatter about things happening up in our neck of the woods. Have you heard anything lately?? I believe some of these posters on here are trying to get a bunch of leases low and then flip them. They know it is up there!! They may not be land men, but they damn sure want in on the action.. Shall we call them.......Opportunists, pimps, flip-flops (democrats), etc. Whatever, they want in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where you been Flop? You did read earlier post about the cat out of the bag right? That is a real cat too! Watch out for the snakes coming out of the grass trying to catch a mouse! Beware of Lonestar Developement...looks like flippers..signs leases but nobody has seen any money?? There are others around also just not so noticeable. They gave up in ARK. trying to get $50 to $100 acre leases....

I really don't think that activity by some of the prominent players will pick up again until they get some off their plates. They are pretty full right now!Unless CHK wants to spend some of that 1.9 billion they made off the sale of their Fayetteville shale. Surprised that other companies aren't showing up but I guess the infrastructure problems may have something to do with it. Arkla or the now center point energy pipelines up in this area are probably to capacity.

Flop...looks like CHK is trying to find the northern boundaries. AP news release and Magnolia Banner News release article about CHK permitting 3 wells in Columbia County..one to be horizontal! And this aint'no made up BS!

Now how could that be. All the so-called experts on here say it goes no more north than Benton, LA!!!!!!! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......... Did I miss something? Nah, I had it right all along!

I had a guy from chesapeake tell me that they cant drill unless they have 520 acres to lease..thats sounds like alot of land to me to just drill once? A guy from petromax in east texas told me THEY needed 640 acres(1square mile) thats alot of freakin land to lease for a well. Benton is only about 1.80-2.0 square miles total...does this mean if more then half of our town is already leased that we wont get any $$ per acre and royalties ?
