That’s a boom

Trump tweeted he talked to Saudi and Putin and both sound like they are agreeing to a cut of 10-15 million barrels. Big win for the oil industry if true.

Oil prices surged 30%

Won't last unless consumption can draw down some inventory. The jury is still out.

I have no oil exposure in many years. Still suspect with a lot of...expect, hope and ifs in that tweet.

Added oil exposure significantly with the recent record lows. Yes there’s a lot of ifs, Hope, etc. But they’re going to make a deal. And Trump may embellish the talks, but there’s definitely a deal being brokered

hmmmmm

doubt a call from trump or a tweet impacted
sa and russia

they were already meeting and expressed thoughts .....we all knew this as did trump when he started hedging his spin for the uninformed sheep like you...

will see where it goes but ....regardless .... big oil was and is a good buy down here

been adding two majors for a while..

How so? Trump has/had a lot of tools to swing things in our favor.

You think USA is powerless in this conversation?

At this point, Trump will say anything to prop up the markets Everyone knows that there definitely will be a deal and that neither countries can survive long term. Will it be today, 3m or 6 months? Who knows.

He may but I wish he wouldn’t. The economy needs these low prices and the oil companies with strong balance sheets will be fine.

I do not want the USA govt effectively joining the cartel in setting production limits.

Yes this will actually help the industry if the BK courts will finally liquidate some companies.
