Didn't he step down fully from the company a couple of years back? I know he criticized China and its financial regulations. Hurt the ANT deal which is part of Baba's hit.

99.9% of people don't know who dafuq he is. The media really hasn't said or reported shite in a way that would catch your eye. I mean they can put Jack Ma" dead. And most people would even click. Now if they said "Richest man in China and Alibaba founder not seen in two months since publicly criticizing Chinese gov't and President Xi" Then at least most investors and some others would check it out. Out media is just as complicit as theirs. Don't ever doubt that!!!

Man I'm really trying not to hate, but this simply isn't true. I haven't seen it anywhere. I started hearing rumblings last week and I checked CNBC religiously because I owned a few shares of BABA and I was blown away that there was nothing. I just did a round of a bunch of news sites, nothing.
I mean no one had any fkn clue who the guy that saudi arabia baked in acid was, but you couldnt escape that story.

I finally found something on it on CNBC in Eunice report from this morning. The report was really about another Chinese billionaire that was killed by poisoning on Christmas day. Joe Kern then asks about Ma. Other than that there is nothing on CNBC. Weird.
