LAC up big after hours on news that the government wants a 10% stake in it. Will be interesting to see how far this goes
Rumor has it that SLI wants the government to take a 10% stake in it.
And if you're wondering I just started that rumor.

I'm hearing complete government buyout.
Bidding war with Equinor, though. The Norwegians want it too. Huge multiples being discussed.
Probably.

15,414,000 tonnes Potash.
Along with highest lithium concentrations ever recorded. 100,000 tonnes/annum production goal lithium. Should move things a little.
That's almost $7billion in Potash at current prices. Another critical mineral.
And 2,638,000 tonnes bromide. (about $7billion worth if price correct)

Has anyone's shares lent out recently?
Posted on 9/24/25 at 9:46 am to Wraytex
About half of my shares have been out the past month, but wildly low rates. Like 1%.
Posted on 9/24/25 at 9:52 am to Fe_Mike
Price movement will take care of those rates. I guess it's time to rattle the cage at Schwab's fully paid lending dept.

I'm on the phone with Schwab's share lending dept and the guy is telling me my share lending was closed last December and that i have to go through the application process again. Since I have to do that I'm making him give me the reason it was closed, will update when I find out. If you were with Schwab share lending, you might want to make sure they didn't pull the rug on your shares as well. He did say right now there are no shares loaned through schwab but looks like that will change

Anyone have a link to the Texas report or where I can find it or cliffs of what was in it?

This and Tesla has my Schwab account looking good. Loaded up on both in April crash.
Lunchtime lull. Where do we think we end the day? I don't see why this news can't carry us over $4. That's $44billion in lithium and another $14billion in potash and bromine.

SLI and NBIS carrying me today.

I don't have much in this, but if an acquisition goes through, I imagine that's a good time to sell rather than have your shares possibly go through some kind of merging situation with the buyer's stock? Any thoughts on what you guys are looking at as a criteria for selling?
