I used to practice down there, know the area, and know Smack. Won some bass fishing tourneys on the Ouachita. Just nostalgic…..

I'm on the Lake Resources email list. Their PR team has been working hard lately. Here's the subjects of the "newsletter" that hit my box this morning:

Lightning speed: America's best-selling F-150 goes green

EV Fest: VW moving upstream

Fitch: ESG to assume centre stage in lithium extraction

New research on Lake highlights upside potential

Lake in the media and on the conference trail

I surely didn't read it all, as most of it about the promising future of EV's.

While scanning, I stumbled on this...

After discussing their share price, and citing a report that says their shares should now be worth $1.89, but are a fraction of that, then says...

quote:

Lake’s most obvious peer, Standard Lithium, also using direct lithium extraction, is currently trading at 107% of its adjusted attributable post-tax NPV8.

Interesting take. Who's moving their funds to LLKKF today?

Not me. LLKKF is years behind Standard and is dependent upon another company for its technology and is operating in areas with more geopolitical risk. If I get my $15-20/share at some point, it will probably go to another sector as I do think tech is coming to make lithium obsolete in the next 10-20 years.

They don't have a clue and haven't been keeping up. Good to see them trying to talk STLHF down to promote Lake. Fear is good. Plus STLHF can accelerate production however much they need. Project initially for 25 years, but that can be shortened if needed. They're not going to leave all that lithium in the ground. Multiply 3.88 million by current prices, and then with projected prices of 2-3+ times current prices. Extraction costs will end up less than $3000/ton IMO. And don't forget this is all about GREEN energy. There is only ONE green lithium producer...STANDARD LITHIUM. I have one lithium stock. Why diversify when you have the nuts? Why invest in inferior tech with environmentally destructive mining/extraction techniques, that will cost more and have much lower ROI? If one does separate itself and show promise, I may pick some up but I have yet to find another that meets those criteria.

But if anyone finds something better, please let us know!!!

I know nothing about lithium production, but if a buddy and I got together and drank a few beers we could have a similar press release with no knowledge, no company to promote, and kinda drunk.

I think major news is coming soon. Now soon is a relative term. Could be day or two or a month, but this Lanxess conversion of debt to shares helps explain why Lanxess has been so tight lipped and employees ordered not to talk about shite pertaining to STLHF. JV is a done deal, just a matter of when it's announced. Both parties are on site. Still awaiting delivery of second demo unit that was finished in Canada.

I've been tempted to go full retard this week, but haven't yet. May just go half, like Forrest Gump level. Added about 20k shares when it went below $3 on the last dip and about 12k more between $3-3.45.

They are being very cautious about press releases and if anything they are downplaying things. They don't want any signs of impropriety to affect them uplisting to NASDAQ.

I may or may not have doubled my position from 1500 to 3000

I still have some cash on hand to add more, but want to wait for a bit

I've been debating this myself...big time.

I've got to keep telling myself to be patient, any time I have regretted a decision, it was because I moved too quick, not too slow.

Having watched this stock for months, I am almost certain some kind of dip down will come our way before we see it take off again.

This is my thought process too. Just wondering what we consider a dip, LOL. My gut tells me there is a new floor somewhere in the $3.10 - 3.20 range. I don't think we will see sub $3.00 again unless there is a major broader market crash or pull back all together.

I don't think this goes below $3.30 again. Too much smoke on JV about to be executed.

That's my sense of it also. The fed could tank everything, or politics or just a few days of a red market sell-offs. I'm accumulating cash and want to round up to 30,000 when or if that happens.
