You let your broker know you want to join their fully paid share lending program. And if the stock is being lent out to shorts, you earn monthly interest on the shares. In 2023 it was around 14 to 15.5 at Schwab.

Just added 10k more. I we're fixing to run up over $2. I have a problem.
