Thoughts on the PR today? Wonder if this PEA will be used to help them get debt financing to start commercial production.

Yes. That what I am thinking as it would be separate from the Lanxess deal as I understand it. Then they could start at Lanxess and Tetra site. Under agreement with Lanxess, they get all revenue from first 12-24 months of production once the JV goes into effect. What I don't know is if they will be allowed to produce prior to JV on their own at Lanxess.

I think we stay pretty flat, unless there is a lot of insider buying at some point, until production is announced or the JV. Really no reason for the average investor to value it for much more than it currently is. Those more knowledgeable about it have already got their chunks and may add a little here and their, but like me, have been adding to other positions instead of accumulation more STLHF. Unfortunately, the longer all this takes it allows more time for another upstart to come along and develop competitive tech. Smash them early and their capital dries up. Especially if STLHF can operate for them at costs that are favorable to money on R and D, construction etc. that may never pan out.

I think they know this and are doing all they can to speed things along, but they can only do so much.

Not trying to be a dick, but if you can get to the Money Talk board, couldn't you just google "magnolia reporter standard lithium" and grab the link yourself?

Time critical now. Would think with the work going in this thinf they would be pushing as hard as possible.
Just need to avoid allowing competition to come in before stlhf can secure sizable market share

The uniqueness of the Smackover gives them a little more time. I’m sure the Biden administration will make permitting for more traditional lithium mining a very painful lengthy process, which STLHF is uniquely positioned to avoid.

Devil's advocate here because I mostly share your perspective. But given the projected Lithium shortfalls over the next decade STLHF should do very well provided they can produce the quantity and battery quality materials promised.

I would however love them to hit the ground running soon so they could expand rapidly to become the world's biggest green Lithium producer.

Agreed, they will still be in position to be profitable but not nearly as advantaged early on allowing them to basically dictate market price

Anyone invested in this thing live near BR?

Might need to form a support group and meet at an appropriate establishment.

Aluminum-ion Batteries...

Looks to be very expensive at $100/gram of graphene.

quote:

Australian company Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced exciting performance test results for a new type of aluminum-ion battery that can charge 10X faster than today's lithium-ion units, while lasting much longer and needing no cooling

quote:

Firstly, a power density around 7,000 W/kg. Power density puts a number on how quickly a cell can charge and discharge. With current lithium-ion batteries sitting between 250-700 W/kg

quote:

Secondly, an energy density of 150-160 Wh/kg – so it carries only around 60 percent of the energy per weight of today's best commercial lithium-ion cells.

I’m very interested in graphene and have studied it a lot.

My understanding is that while it charges fast and lasts long, it can’t hold a charge. Not sure that has changed. Super interesting technology though.

Shaping up to be a good day. Can we close $3.20’s? Set up nicely for a run into the weekend?
