Our (don't frick with) money is with Capital/American. She lets me routinely prove that's a good decision by letting me have a play account at Schwab. One of these days though....

Lending rate upped to 14.5% on Schwab.

Man, I'm getting 22.4% with TD. Not bad. Anyone done the switch over the schawb yet? Does it suck?

It's getting used to slightly different look, but it's not difficult. I don't mind it.

“Mike adds extensive and impressive commercial experience to our leadership team with his long career in advising and financing companies in the energy transition sector,” said Robert Mintak, CEO and Director of Standard Lithium. “His appointment is timely given the late-stage discussions underway with a broad array of industry leaders and household names on our portfolio of projects.” From the Oct 05 news release.
Seems like this narrative on discussions with "household names" has been out for a month now..
Hoping SLI will release an updated Management Presentation soon.. the latest presentation is from September and still refers to the Phase 1A project as the LANXESS Phase 1A project :D

I don’t like linking a zerohedge article here but..

This would be an awesome buyout partner lol

If there was any doubt left in your mind whether or not the oil and gas industry is literally running like greased lightning nowadays, it has been reported that ExxonMobil is still seeking out new M&A opportunities - even after the firm's massive $60 billion acquisition of Pioneer.
After the company's blowout earnings and hiked dividend to end the week, CFO Kathy Mikells told Financial Times that the supermajor is still on the prowl opportunities: “It’s important to say that we’re always looking. Many times I’ve described us as very inquisitive but also very picky. A deal has got to be what we say is ‘one plus one equals three’

So she's saying they're going to buy another Permian player with acreage near Pioneer's to increase their contiguous acreage position and streamline their operations. The fact that Pioneer is vertically integrated is a big point of that acquisition that you don't see mentioned in articles.
But yes, hopefully she's referring to the southern Arky lithium hotbed as well.

looks like they jumped way ahead on the tetra project by simply announcing: "we are poised to progress the SWA project to FEED and Definitive Feasibility Study stages.”
That means when those studies are finalized and announced, we can have another bloodletting, just like the one that killed my 10/20 calls.

Why release this after 3:00 in the evening? and on Halloween?
Reading it has me scratching my head about time lines related to the scale out of the existing operational pilot plant. They plan to have 2 construction projects going on at once? That fact is not even an afterthought to established and profitable companies, but for tiny start-ups like this thing...hhhmmmm....

Well, those studies would have to be done prior to construction in any case, might as well get all of this tedious crap out of the way for Elon in the here and now.

Public companies are required to disclose events such as these within 4 business days of the material event occurring so their choices are limited.
I view having multiple irons in the fire as a good thing as Koch’s involvement greatly de-risks being able to execute. Without Koch’s involvement I’d share your concern

I shamelessly dropped Elon in there, but having those studies done could be a request/requirement for any buyout suitor.

Somebody must've liked that news. They bought 151,000 shares at 17:06.
Or sold it? Which is it?
