Schwab upped the lending rate to 14% this morning.
As sad as this stock has been recently, it's really hard for me to ignore being fully lent out and that rate continues to increase.

My shares are still fully lent out. I won’t complain about the interest earnings, but it’s not near enough to make up for the precipitous drop in share price.

Man that was a very large buy that just went through.
Something's happening.

Where do you go to see individual transactions?

Same thing on the TSX at 12:54
Volume of 26k shares

Not a pro at this, but:
I don't think individual order history is available to anyone 'publicly', per say. You could use more advanced charting services to get high res tick charts or 3/5 second charts and get a better look at some of the transactions. Or L2/3 to see open orders in advance. These are ways to put the puzzle pieces together.
But even if you just look at the standard 60 second chart (the 60 second chart shows the closing price every minute, and the total volume that was traded during that minute) available most places, a large buy/sell like that (the one that occurred at 12:56) is fairly easy to identify. There are a lot of trades and possibly multiple orders embedded in that 1 minute window, but looks very much like somebody initiated a large limit buy (looks like 250k shares) at $3. It runs to $3 really quick, bounces at $3 support a few times over the next few minutes as the last 50kish shares get filled, then starts dropping again once that 250k order is gone and bids to buy at $3 dry up.

Link We have super duper lithium concentrations in East Texas again, but this one might be interesting for another reason:
"...the Company has drilled and sampled a new highest confirmed lithium grade brine, measuring 806 mg/L. In addition, comprehensive brine analyses from all three of the Company’s new wells in East Texas show highly elevated concentrations of potash (KCl) and bromine, signifying a large potential for these commodities. The drilling work and continued resource evaluation are from areas where the Company has secured the rights to all minerals contained in the brine."
Albemarle partnership: 0% chance [>0% chance]
Is this significant to yall?
I like the idea of low-risk income for Standard, for once. Is this how Lanxess felt (if they weren't drowning)?

In case anyone can use some perspective on how high these lithium concentrations are:
Average Lithium Concentration
Phase 1A (most advanced project): 217 mg/L
Southwest Arkansas (most profitable project): 454 mg/L
Former East Texas Exploration (reported as highest North American lithium concentrations until now): 490 mg/L
Today's reported East Texas Exploration: 644 mg/L
This matters because higher concentrations mean lower production costs.

Yes. Any extra income is gravy, I think a partnership or buyout by Albermarle makes the most sense with them having decades worth of experience in bromine and additional resources, infrastructure, distribution capabilities right next door. Plus plenty of capital to ramp up faster.
Wouldn't be shocked to see them buy Lanxess AG on the cheap and consolidate the whole thing now that Exxon has entered the picture. Albermarle has the hard rock mining/traditional evaporation pit lithium market by the nuts, why not seize the DLE and become the Exxon of lithium before Exxon does?

I like the sound of it. Just not sure ALB has the strength to give us a buyout that we want. Looking at their financials they got 1.6B in cash and 3.7B in debt already. Who knows though
Posted on 10/25/23 at 8:39 am to Shepherd88
ALB was on the verge of paying $4B for Liontown before it fell through. So they have at least that much flex.
I'll skip away happily if they put that up for SLI. $23/share. Where do I sign?
That being said, they aren't paying a 6-7x premium, so they've got some work to do to inflate the share price pre-buy if that's the target valuation.

Schwab snatched up the 300 shares I bought last week and added the. to lent shares.
Posted on 10/25/23 at 10:40 am to Wraytex
Yup. They took the 2000 shares I added last week. All but 20 of my shares are lended out. I assume just because it's not a nice round number

What the hell, I have to get in on this action.

They take 100 share lots.
Greenhead share lending is the only antacid for holders going this long.

E-trade was bought out by Morgan Stanley a few months ago and they raised the Lending $ needed to $300,000. Not happy about it.
