Bingo! Speculation on my part, but it seems things began to come to a crawl when Koch entered the picture. Feels like they had to start over. Now we are looking at 3+ more years before any substantial revenue opportunity. Competition swarming the area. There's no news to anticipate for a pop unless the Exxon thing ties in somehow. I dumped half, will hold the other half with fingers crossed.

I wonder if the snails pace is due to SLI needing to find some very deep pockets to kick this into gear.
It would help to dispel any doubts if they ran the demo plant to produce as much revenue as possible.

The demo plant is only authorized to operate through this month so hopefully when the commission extends it they also approve some version of the royalty rate proposal so SLI can start selling. Like you said, even if sales aren’t much it would be a nice validation for us.
This and the FID being a possible 9 months out are my two primary interests at this point

FWIW their latest Facebook post has several comments about their PR and the FID timeline.
So at the very least, they know investors are pissed at that communication.

Looks like they're responding to the negative comments with "Please email us"

I’ve emailed them before, too. They said they’d talk to me on the phone. Same thing they’re telling everyone else. So basically they don’t want anything on record.
I think they deserve to be publicly thrashed at this point. Someone commented “you don’t own the land, the brine, or the technology”. I hope they realize that people see this.

As the person at the receiving end of this message, I agree that this wasn't as professional as I would like.
But I was happy to have even gotten a response.
I am writing to SLI IR to see if they might be open to the idea of a zoom call with interested folks.. They probably won't be able to say much due to confidentiality but would be good for them to realize the general investor sentiment.
