I just listened to it and it made me feel much more comfortable. I believe I heard Mintak say they are seeking a partnership with a battery company and to not be surprised if they find one this year.
The Lanxess project sounds like they have the golden ticket to feasibility with infrastructure and permitting already setup. The SW Arkansas project should yield more concentration however.
I think the stock popped today just on overall market rally however. It’s high beta name so it’s not surprising.

FPL payments came through today, but SLI is up. Hopefully it keeps going up with some solid progress this year.
Mintak's interview presentation sounded great with lots of promise, but alas, it is a field of dreams that needs something a bit more concrete.

It was a very good presentation/interview. It created a big field of dreams moving forward. One real concrete proof should set this off.

Yea, the ending talking about additional partners was particularly interesting. He almost made it sound like people are lining up to invest/partner with SLI. I like the comparison of the smackover as the permian basin of lithium. Another point that is often reiterated here is the massive amount of experience, infrastructure, and permitting that is already in place for this project. There are lots of promising lithium plays out there with only some or none of these things.

SLI really bucking the market trends recently.
Level/slightly red day for the sector and SLI still pumping in 5% gains on decent volume (knock on wood).
Technically, it's breaking out of a large bull wedge, and fundamentally it looks like market is anticipating news soon.

To me it appeared that he was holding back a smile when talking about that. The optimist in me interpreted that as him knowing more than he was able/willing to mention.

There are legal limits as to what he can actually claim.
I'm just looking for that spark. Piedmont in NC was sitting at $7 when an email from Musk triggered it to a $70 frenzy. They don't have permits, will be a strip mine and have hostile neighbors.
