If this thing is still in the 3s in a couple months, I’m adding shares

The 2022 stock market as a whole is a lead weight. Plenty of great companies are going down with the ship. This is not exclusive to SLI. Even if SLI's leadership put out a PR, it would only get a mild bounce, then get dragged right back down the next day. That's the state of the market today. One day it'll turn around, but for now, there's not much that any individual company's leadership can do to swim against this massive current going the wrong way.

Don’t disagree, but this has been a problem for longer than the recent downturn

I don’t think so. Mintak looks like a genius right now for getting $100M from Koch at well over $7 a share. All of us average joes can get a piece of SLI for less than half what Koch paid right now.

The million share dump the other day concerns me, If there are follow ups to that then I'll really get concerned.

Was the Koch purchase for common shares?

I’m pretty sure it was a private offering and it diluted the stock price when they did it. But that doesn’t mean they couldn’t sell on the open market either.

Yes, I think it was $7.42ish a share.

Probably a good week to buy next week. We may do an overall market run up and this on could get back to 5 on a runner

No matter how slow SLI has plodded away their strategic lead advantage, they still have the source brine.

Not to mention operating in a very low cost area, access to all necessary infrastructure, including rail access at all sites and centrally located. Just a matter of Koch engineers help working out the kinks of the scale up.

I take the appointment of PwC as auditor to be a very positive development which will help to further establish legitimacy.

I was trying to interpret if that was a good thing or bad thing that they switched auditors

Good thing, they switched from a mid-tier firm to a top tier firm.

As someone who works for a Big 4 firm (not in the auditing practice though), I would be concerned if it went the opposite way - from a Big 4 auditor to a smaller firm.

In the current situation I’m not sure if the interpretation should be positive or neutral. But it’s definitely not negative.

PLL was just awarded a $140M grant.

Man I hope SLI is next…
