What is IBATFs advantage in the market?

They claim to have mobile DLE extraction units that can be assembled in under a year and for about 20% the cost of SLI or LLKKF type fixed DLE extraction plants. Also claim to be a lot less water and chemical intensive. So, if all of that is true, they are a lower operating cost, cheaper (capex outlay), and much faster to market alternative to SLI/LLKKF.

See page 4 of their corporate presentation in the link below for a comparison slide: LINK

Borrowing of SLI shares is up this week. However, the trend line over the last month looks very nice.

This IBATF whatever company doesn’t pass the smell test for me.

Firstly, they are claiming some ridiculous capex numbers. For themselves and competitors. Any investor presentation that tries to bash peers is an immediate red flag.

Second, their “chemical use” concept looks like a complete fairy tail. Their presentation reads like a sophomore physics major trying to explain how he can achieve perpetual motion.

Lastly, and most importantly, they have no access to brine. Which means they have no access to lithium. Period. They are trying to sell mixing tanks, not lithium.

Their pitch is claiming they’ve got the biggest baddest gun. That may or may not be true. But they don’t have any ammo to use said gun which is a major problem when you’re trying to go to war with lithium miners.

It has a HMBL feeling.

If they back up their claims obviously it becomes exciting but the adage about being too good to be true makes me very skeptical

Feel like all we can do is go visit the plant considering it’s in lake Charles

Seems like every other lithium company is on the run Sli went on 6 months ago and will hopefully get what we got soon

Wish I woulda got more ibatf when it was cheap but if I was big in it now I might be trimming

Might hit $8 today baws.....

Seems like this is a "rising tide lifts all boats" scenario where the market is catching on that higher oil prices are only gonna accelerate the EV transition much faster, pushing lithium demand into overdrive.

This is definitely your fault.

Yikes, lithium tanking this morning. If we can stay green it'll be a miracle.

lol. Don't you dare! You know better than to buy into a rip like that. That's like buying SLI at >$12 last October...
