There's not alot of good things happening in my portfolio anywhere right now honestly. NvDA is my second biggest position behind sli right now so that's helped me handle last couple of weeks but even that turned down today.

I think my best stocks today were like brk.b and jpm which are old long positions of mine feel like when I see those at the top, it means everyone is just giving up.

Just sitting in my bunker now. Don't like to trade, I just simply don't have enough time to play that game during the day, most all my moves come in afterhours. If none of this makes sense probably because I had a couple of drinks tnight.

Copy/Paste from Yahoo:

Key to understanding the current controversy is the fact that the unit that processes lithium chloride into lithium carbonate was held up in Vancouver until September due to Covid travel restrictions. It was installed during Sept. and put into operation starting in October. Those results will not be filled with Arkansas authorities until the end of this year. Therein is the reason for Lanxess delay on signing off on SLI meeting
committed performance measures.

Of course, Orca omitted that very relevant information to suit their very distorted short story.

And then there is the PEA conducted by very credible sources, immeasurably more credible than Orca, for lithium hydroxide from the Tetra site. PEA vs Orca -- no contest.

Orca is, is at a minimum, dishonest in constructing their short story for personal gain. I am amazed the SEC allows that kind of nefarious behavior.

Would be nice to trade sideways these next two days.

If SLI can come out on the other side of this attack only down 14% pre-Orca then I look at it as a positive.

Get back to the $9ish next week and settle there until the next news drop and gap up. This has to shake them on the need for better PR.

I keep going back to the case with Hyzon Motors. They were attacked on September 28th, the price fell sharply, then slid a little. They bottomed out at $5.20/share, but will likely trade at $8.30/share today.
That's a significant recovery and it was done slow and steady with small PR releases over time.

Edit: Germany price fell hard early, then recovered all day and is +3.5% near close... and it's gone...

Well if data till the end of the year is needing to be analyzed before jv then we are looking at Late Feb, March for JV announcement, end of q1, at the soonest, but thats just my opinion.

I see a market wide pull back before then, don't know how significant, but I think staying above 9 for all that time is probably unlikely. Interest rates have to go up before end of q1 next year, and the market will react. Maybe they could drop some nuggets along the way, but unless they need that offering, I dont see why they would be concerned with how the stock is trading if they know they are still on track. What's the point of showing any of your cards.

This blurb does; however, make me feel better about the long term story being in tact.

No. Would be foolish for an actual insider to divulge anything at all. It does however feel like a comment from an astute investor vs bandwagon pump n dumper

It would be nice to know who gains from these market manipulations either from shorting or from buying in at an artificially low price.

Some on Seeking Alpha thanked Orca for the chance to buy more.

I added 1500 more at 7 on the initial drop and sold them today for 8.80. Want some liquidity in case this is a SSR back and forth thing for a little while.
