The PEA on all their south Arkansas projects not including current Lanxess project. I have a feeling there will be some good surprises in there. Was initially thought to be for the Tetra project only. Good feeling either way, but could be HUGE.

ETA- and Hawgeye knows who I am btw. I'm just not for sure who he is. I've got some hints but it's bugging the shite out of me. I can deal with not knowing though. Just feel like a man that gives me a tip that is up about 2000% from my initial buy is owed at least a small gift of gratitude!

But if he gives a stock tip, I'd take it or at least study it real damn hard. He was on this stock about the same time I was if not a little sooner.

LOL

I am studying some natural gas plays right now. Infrastructure in the NEast is terrible and no companies are putting in new lines. Lots of line replacements though. Going to be a nat gas shortage this winter. Also oil getting up to $90bbl will be big. MTDR is in gas as well as oil, fyi. I think it runs more during the winter.

Plains is about to finalize their JV deal with Oryx. Should be sign sealed and delivered next week. Plains is just terribly run. They are midstream though and they transport natural gas. Studying Northern Natural and Southern. PG&E is a low hanger that may be worth a dabble in. California is alway just a pain.

I'll be in the Northeast next week at a conference and hope to dig for more info then.

PR on the Tetra PEA (Preliminary Economic Assessment). Basically a few months ago they hired a firm to conduct an analysis on the NPV of the Tetra leases (~30,000 acres) they hold, along with the bromine depleted brinewater on the Lanxess leases (outside of the three commercial plants already contemplated in the 2019 PEA on bromine rich Lanxess brinewater). They are governed by some fairly strict laws in the Canada and US on the assumptions that they can use, but we're hoping here that it shows a multi billion dollar NPV on top of the ~ billion dollar NPV that the 2019 PEA showed. Mintak said a Q3 timeline on this, so if we hold him to that then it should be coming this week. So the remainder of the year would be (my guess):

This week: Tetra PEA
October/November: JV execution
November/December: FID (final investment decision) on first Lanxess plant

Maybe we want to be considered a lithium junior miner and not a lithium tech company... for today at least until the tech selloff on higher 10 year rates subsides...

Always thought it was such a crock that tech stocks selloff on higher rates but don't really rebound on lower rates (during 2021 at least).

Yes. I'm assuming because of current discounted price from 5 yr highs and when prices are way high, anybody can make money. My take was to get before JV. I'm sure it's been announced, but if it has, I don't see any real upsurge in price recently.

We're for sure a minor miner. Stuff we do is technically tech but actually pretty simple. Not like those computer nerd stocks. Fingers crossed.

Unless no news release and we get a dip. I'm gonna have to take another swing before the PEA.

And I was off a little on Albermarle's P/E. I know it was like 55 not too long ago. Now sits at 35.1 with recent price drop. If we get those kinds of valuations on SLi once they start earning...look out!!

Thought it was pretty telling that the SA analyst Austin Craig (who called for $6-9 over a period of several years back in his April article) replied to that new article I posted last night.

He made the comment:
quote:

Good synopsis. The only thing I might suggest is looking at their second Arkansas operation to the east. As well as the wild card of California operations. Overall though I found this to be a good overview for the masses. Author did a good job covering a lot of ground. I would disagree saying it's overvalued though once you factor in future expansion projections.

I'm going back in today. Selling some Novavax and using funds to buy SLI.

Yea, around a month or so ago. They’ve been haggling over some things. Legal teams have kinks worked out now. Done next week.

I’m probably not touching it…but you guys can.

Not a LNG play but I'm still bullish on RIG. With Goldman Sachs projecting $90/barrel oil by end of year and pretty much everyone expecting $100/barrel by next summer, look out. That's good for your O&G holdings and our little lithium play. I'll be purchasing some PAA real soon and likely throw some at PG&E. Will for sure be watching Hawgeye's updates on the others. So keep some bullets put back. MTDR has natural gas as well, they are still a strong play and a long term hold. Just paid first ever dividend during COVID. Sits at .10/share now, but they are a growth company. Wish I could've allocated the full amount to them I had wanted to at around $2.

If you were going to be at a little get together with Madison Murphy and a few other MUR/Murphy USA execs, any specific questions you'd try to pry some answers about?
