Strong buying into the close... was fun to watch the frenzy on level 2. Someone wanted in before next week! Another SLI green, market red day!

This thing always seems to spike in the last 5 minutes. Doesn't matter if it is an up or down day.

Maybe someone thinks we hear something this weekend

Portfolio is up 8.5% for the month of July (that's with 30% sitting in cash)... S&P 500 was up 2.3%... Thanks SLI! All my other stocks were pretty much flat or in the red for July.

Given the way positive earnings have been received, this thing will probably take an AUPH and drop 20% on news of the JV.
Posted on 7/30/21 at 3:31 pm to Chucktown_Badger
Nah baw we're going to go $7+ with JV news and get me up and over the million dollar mark here. This stock isn't well known enough for the "sell the news" fools to run the trading action.

Sounds good. Except for the damn river staying up all the time!
And if you worked at Clean Harbors, you knew my dad.

Hey Smack! Any guidance for next year graduating male RN? Beyond RN? Recommendations?

My brother in a CRNA and does real well. NP market is flooded, but a good one with good people skills is always needed. Where are they wanting to live?
I've told several to try and get industrial medicine experience. I know a few that make more than most practitioners, but everyone want experience. Aerojet is looking a pays well. They had to move one from California and bring old one back out of retirement. They'll probably still be looking in a year or two. They need 3. Lockheed may be. Between the two there's going to be 2500-3000 employees.
CRNA pays more on average than NP, but have more intensive and expensive schooling. NP's can work and still go to school.

So what does that look like after RN degree Industrial Medicine? Is that on the job experience at an industrial facility or school, or both?

On the job or a clinic that does a lot. There are courses that help. Biggest thing is knowing OSHA rules/regs, recordable incidents, first aid, basic life support.
Hard to get on the job, because they all require experience.
The one at CH makes about $120k I believe. And the one that was there before left for Aerojet for a raise and then to Delek. No clue what she's getting now. I won't deal with Delek.
