I interpreted this as him taking a shot at Lanxess on the JV split negotiations

Yep. SLI had to raise funds to proceed while Lanxess sat with thumb up arse. When one partner puts up much more than initially agreed, they expect a return. SLI wants the 60/40 or better. Lanxess is stuck because they would be idiots to walk away from billions in revenue.
I love it. Those Canadians shoving up their Kraut asses I believe. Lanxess is negotiating from a position of weakness. Their cheap arse didn't want Tetra and Albermarle is right next door. I'd love to know if Albermarle is the source of the South American brine.

Dragging it out over 10 percent potentially hurts lanxness more than SLI
Got to think they are done though, too much money being spent and work done.

I have no doubt the JV is done besides dotting i's and crossing t's. Things are progressing fine. The work SLI has done has further de-risked Lanxess's investment. Not sure of the original deal was set up to allow SLI to get the extra 10%. It doesn't mean that Lanxess isn't agreeable. Contracts may have to be re-written and that means lawyers. Wordy mf'ers.

Up big time in Germany and premarket bid in America is up to $5.25. About damn time we had a nice green day, let's hope it holds!

Yeah no kidding, let me on the board so I can get 200,000 options too!

He's got an impressive resume'

It looks like a good appointment in and of itself. But I think the main thing to glean from that PR for short term is that his options are exercisable at $6.08
Dude isn’t going to agree to that price unless he’s more than comfortable with it as a floor. We’re gonna be hunting $6.08 in the short term without any other news.

Last night price was at 4.98. Checked it this morning and saw 4.80, now showing 5.46. Looks like a good move today.

Looks like his business is the Venture Studio. There are many articles on the internet comparing the Venture Studio hands on approach to the Venture Capitalist investments approach. I'm guessing Dr. Berl is there to help raise capital for the company's growth. There may be dilution for the existing shareholders if funds are raised through preferred stock or additional common stock issued, but I hope Dr. Berl's experience will lead to greater stock value growth that will make up for any dilution.

Bought a little more yesterday at 4.75. Would have bought a lot more today under 5 but need to sell something else to get the funds. Would like to double my shares under 5 if it drops again. My goal is 5K shares almost halfway there.

I've done more for the company than he has! Howz about throwing 100k my way? I'd settle for 53,537 shares.
