Did anyone’s company charge a Covid Tax for not getting the Covid Vaccination?

Just curious if I’m the only one that got a charge for refusing the Covid Vax?

My company sent out a letter saying they would start deducting $10 a week for not having the vaccine last year. Well fast forward a year they sent me a letter saying that they were no longer going to charge the $10 for not being vaccinated.

Cost me around $7.01 a week after taxes and I feel it was well worth it.

Yea, I’d would have found a new place to work as soon as possible after I received the first notice they were going to do this.

No use staying with a company that did/does this to their employees IMO, as we just don’t agree on the mission for that company.

There are better companies to work for and the more we let companies do this the more they will.

What’s the next “emergency”?

I'm guessing they were doing a health plan premium surcharge like what the ACA allows for tobacco users.

Not the Poli-board, but because of no-vax status, I was given the boot from a fortune 50 and forced to go out on my own. Joined a startup as a 1099 for 4 months and it went so well I joined full time in April. I'm having more fun than ever, making great money, and we're building a great company. Funny how things work out.

Sounds like your company needs to be sabotaged from within. I’m sure you can find something the IRS would be interested in.

Biden was a piece of shite for mandating that and history has proven this correct.

Wife’s company did that - actually they were charging health ins premiums for spouses and employees.

Email notice sent in morning.
Email after lunch removing spouses.
Email later the week scrapping the whole thing.

My company did the same thing but only for employees. They didnt ask about spouses or children. They did it as an insurance premium surcharge like they do smoking. Only lasted about 8 months and they suspended it. I never took the vaccine.
