Is Amex Business Platinum 15k spend = 150k bonus?

I still have 200k of these. It is the first thing I check now so I may burn them, but it never seems to work out. I suppose if I have inquiries to use I can just keep wracking up until one day it works out.

I'm in the same boat. Have more than double that and don't think of them usually. Still I need to get that easy 100k. Think this is where I need to start the 12 step process
In seriousness though, I was able to get tremendous value out of AA recently through reduced mileage awards to fly last minute to regional airports. 4-6 CPP in Y.

Ya, the only time I got some value out of them is when my wife had to fly to a funeral on short notice using the Tri Cities and Roanoke airports

Can someone help me out on this MS bull shite?
I've got a CSR to get in March and I'm gonna have to spend $4k
1. I paypal or venmo someone $100-$500 using my credit card that's on file.
2. They take the money and then quickpay my Chase bank account.
3. I pay my credit card from Chase bank account.
What wrong with that? Seems way easier than this bluebird, serve, gift card, money order fiasco.

Yeh thats how it goes. Catch is the 3% fee but that's what you pay for convenience. Other way is 1% but a lot more work. Long term the 2% differential adds up. For every now and then just to meet minimum spends it's not too bad
Only thing is I wouldn't to chase quickpay. I'd use some other bank. Like I said earlier, keep chase separate as much as you can. Don't want any eyes on your account for any reason whatsoever

Quick question:
My 5/24 is rolling off on 1/18/17. As luck would have it, that is a week after the offer is ending. I applied for the CSR yesterday and was denied because I have 5/24. On 1/18/17, this will become 4/24. Is there anyway to get this reconsidered on 1/19 with the active offer?

You usually have 30 days to recon a negative decision IIRC. So I'd wait 2 weeks for it to fall off then recon and say "what gives?"

Looks like Hyatt is about to ending all the fun effective 1 March.
No more free two nights bonus?
Looks to me like you've got to do a shite ton to get a little...

I'm failing to see this or how the credit card free night certificates relates to their reward program changes outside of how many points it takes to redeem for a night.

That's why I asked. Hoping to be wrong.
2 free nights could be better than IHG.
I'll get one of the two for sure after the CSR.

Again, IHG and Hyatt you can still get after you are over 5/24. I'd max out on the cards that you can't first.
And it may be more valuable too. 2 Hyatt nights are at the max worth 60K Hyatt points. Chase Ink comes with a 80K bonus. If you were so inclined, you could always transfer 60K to Hyatt and still come out 20K on top.
Your first five cards should be:
1) CSR
2) SW x 2 for companion pass
3) CSP
4) Ink
5) One of United or one of the Freedoms. Or Marriott even.
This gets you 230K UR, 110K SW points plus companion pass (104K comes from the cards, rest you can earn through various ways) and 50-75K United, or another 15K UR. With Freedom you are trading 35K points to play the long game to earn through the 5X categories.
If you ae gonna get your wife into it too, then sub the 2 SW cards for the Marriott cards for her list. Rest all remains the same.

Southwest has put a stop to transferring points from partner sites towards companion pass.
Yes this sucks but understandable on SW end. Just wished they gave a little notice. Im sittng with 330k Marriott pts transfered from 110 SPG Amex pts and was going to get the package for SW CP
Live again until March

Anyone doing a SPG - VX - AS transfer speculatively tomorrow being the last day for SPG - VX transfer?
AS is my #1 airline miles to collect atm. But have nothing coming up to book on AS. At first this looks like a great deal to convert SPG points to AS miles @ 1.625. Meaning a one way on JAL F is only 44K SPG points and you can include a stopover. But when you think about the fact that VX miles were always more valuable than any other points to begin with (all partners except SPG transfer at 2:1), the deal seems to lack a little bit of luster since you're only getting 1.625 going out. I can't make up my mind. Either way, with the 79,999 limit SPG imposes and the fact that you would need to do 20K at a time to maximize, you can only do 120K SPG points as of today. I may bite the bullet and move over 120K. But keeping in mind AS devaluing without notice recently, and the fact that AS miles may be easy to come by through BOA card, my better sense of judgement advises against it.
Any thoughts from someone else?

AS is also a Korean partner so you can use the same 25k rt.
Yeah, I called Korean a couple weeks ago and had them check - nothing. Called BA, same.

Can you explain a little more how to do this? I went to UA site, but you're saying check Star partners? How and what is sq? Sorry. I understand your slang for the first part
