Idk when you're planning to go but you'd need to do this well in advance. Especially with Qantas and Air NZ who are both stingy with award space. Even more so in J/F
Yeah only 4.5 months out (march), I see some availability in J in June but really limited overall. Thanks for the help man, I'll keep looking.

Just trying to use 2 vgcs on a $400 MO. Cashier must have messed up. Stopped at a different store and told cashier to split tender like you mentioned and had it work without problems.
"split tender' must have been the magic words

How many MOs do you bank a month AK? Didn't you get some authorities knocking on your door?

Tried to buy 3 yesterday. Would not accept Ink. Told me must use cash to buy VGCs.

Idk between, 20-50K. I use different banks and maintain good records.
I've toned it down a little because I have too many points and not enough days.

At Office Depot? Where?
I hit 3 separate in the last 2 days and going back at lunch.

Office Depot in Houma and Thibodaux. Planning on trying New Iberia tomorrow. I bought three in New Iberia and Lafayette the last time Office Depot had this special without issue.

I'm a little weary of this promo. It's almost too good to be true. With the recent amex clawbacks, this could be a bait for manual review. Most likely, I'm just paranoid

If your fears are true they gonna be clawing like a mofo on me this time. Would be my luck! Finally got the WM cashier to "split tender" on those cards.
I guess terminology is key
Tomorrow is the last day to hit OD right?
There is three between me and Tiger Stadium!

Just hit my CSR minimum spend and wife just got approved for hers!
Now just have to call them to get my metal card. I'm also now quickly realizing how awesome Hyatt's redemptions are. This is beginning to get super fun.

What are using with Hyatt?

Nothing special. Just using CUR for weekend getaways at Cat 3-4s to save on hotels that would otherwise be too pricey. It's just great that you can spend 12-15k points for a nice place compared to 30k for a Hilton or Courtyard. Just did Andaz Savannah and now going to Asheville. Will probably be looking into the Hyatt Visa soon once I know I can make use of those 2 free nights at any property within a year.
Anybody with good tips on finding availability using Avios to Hawaii (LIH)?

Yeah. Don't use Avios. Use Korean or Flying Blue. Avios is 25K RT from the West Coast. Korean is 25K RT from anywhere and Flying Blue is 30K RT from anywhere. Both SkyTeam so Delta flights.

How was that? We're going to Charleston, Hilton Head, and Savannah this summer and I'm looking at the Andaz for a couple nights.

I was going to ask the same question. The lady went to school in Savannah, and we've been talking about a trip back.

Question for you frequent points travelers:
I have about 200K Chase UR points...what is the best way to figure out if that can get me to Europe (say Italy or Greece) round trip in first/business class out of Atlanta. Or at least figure out how many additional points I would need to do that?
Will booking through the Chase rewards portal, or transfer the points to airlines get me more value?

Transfer will give the best value.
80K per person RT on SkyTeam in Business through Korean Skypass.
140K on Star Alliance through United. Or 220K in First. You can fly Lufthansa First which is one of the best F products. In this case you can also do one way in J, other way in F.
This option also allows 1 free stopover and open jaw.
Not many options on OneWorld.

What's the best way to search the points needed to redeem a flight for each airline? Do you have to go to the individual websites, or is there somewhere that aggregates them all?
Is Korean Air affiliated with Delta? If I booked through Korean Skypass out of Atlanta would it most likely be a Delta flight?

CSR + Freedom is legit. I've had it two months and I'm averaging 7446 pts per month with our normal spending patterns.

Korean and Delta are both SkyTeam alliance. That is the only affiliation.
Yes you can fly Delta out of Atlanta using Korean Skypass miles. Although I think you may be find more availability on Air France/KLM. I would use the Flying Blue website to search for award availability. Plug in your dates and search for J award at the 62.5K level (per way).
