I knew they didn't match, but I thought they had to share inquiries and the likes between each other...

This seems to be the consensus for best Hyatt in Hawaii.
Kauai Hyatt is lush and so clean and not swamped with people. You have a great pool and the beach right outside is so nice as mentioned. You can go jump off the cliff or snorkel/swim, go play golf at Poipu Bay, Spouting Horn and nice hikes plus Waimea Canyon not too far away. The luau was really good. It's a true Hawaiian experience there.
By the way Aviator Red sent me a letter saying AF was coming up so I just called and they
waived the AF and got an offer for 5,000 bonus points after I spend $1,000 within 90 days. I told them my friend Afro gets all kinds of offers including 10,000 points a year and it's bullshite I don't

Hard to beat that.

So, last time I called to cancel I had the 30k point bonus for 15k spend in 6 months already on file(They call it the 45k point offer so they're counting the 15k regular points), so I asked if they had any other offers since i got the 15k offer for $500 spend each month for 3 months on my other card and that's really a better offer. She said "hold on let me look around". She was able to get me double points for 6 months on gas/grocery and something else on top of the 45k offer. So, basically I'll end up with 60k points if I get my gift cards at gas/grocery stores. You can always call back and see if they have any "spend category bonuses".

Does anyone have the AMEX platinum? I keep getting the 100K offer and I want it bad but don't feel like I'm at the point I could truly take advantage of or justify that $450 fee

I have it. The fee can be mostly offset by getting Global Entry and taking advantage of the airline reimbursement for $200 a year (I believe it's $200). There are also other perks. You also get Centurion Lounge Access at select airports which is nice to have.

It is a great card...I believe you also get Hilton gold status. I have small children so our schedules are tight and I don't believe I can take advantage of the perks. Maybe I'm just greedy when I see the 100K offer

Glad you reminded me of that. We pounded Pepto in India.
I'm just hoping these thunderstorms are cleared out by tomorrow night.

Ok guys... Manufactured spending, give me the lowdown.
I've seen you all mention "Vanilla Cards" on here... I was just at CVS and they had a ton of them in stock. How does it work? I need to get 4k worth of spending in the next month or two in order to get some bonus miles. Give me kindergarten level description of how to do it.
TIA

1. Order this card Serve One VIP.
2. Buy Vanilla gift card in $500 denominations at CVS.
3. Go to Family Dollar or Rite Aid and tell clerk you'd like to load your Serve card.
She'll scan her card and ask you to swipe you Serve card in CC terminal. She'll ask how much. I do $500 at a time at each store. Not actually sure limits anymore, but I think it's $2k/day.
Swipe Vanilla card and enter pin. Your first use of the card establishes a pin. There is no hard coded pin so use any 4 digits you'd like.
4. Log in to serve account and set up bank account information. Withdrawal money to bank account or pay bills with it.
5. Pay off CC or don't.

So the Serve One is the vehicle to transfer the funds?
So in summary:
Buy Vanilla card (earn pts from CC used for purchase)
Take Vanilla card to Rite Aid/Family Dollar and put Vanilla card to Serve One
Transfer funds from Serve One to bank account
???
So the only place you are really earning pts is on the purchase of the vanilla card, which I mean can be $30 or so in travel per 1k moved depending on the purchasing card...

Hey dudes,
Sitting at ICN right now.
Reviews for this place are accurate to say the least.
My wife has now told me we can't fly economy ever again after that experience. I agree with her.
Have a Merry Christmas

Incheon is the nicest airport I've been to. They have really nice showers that are free

Yeah probably shouldn't get it then. If you want to go to centurion lounges bad enough just pay $50 to go to one

At the Sheraton now.
About to head to Raja's and see what I can accomplish.
Already got my play of Murray Head's One Night in Bangkok
Rush's Passage to Bangkok is next. Get hyped!
ETA: No luck on Raja's. Can't get in enough fittings. Oh well.

OK MB I need help.
I have had the CSP/ Freedom combo for 7 months now and racked up 100k UR. I know there is the annual fee coming up for the CSP. I would like to jump on another bonus opportunity to somehow add to/use in conjunction with my UR points. I just don't know what card to get now.
I got an offer in the mail for the AMEX Platnium with the 100k points opportunity. Is this a good card to jump to next? I don't really understand all the point valuations or how to combine them with my already earned UR points. What are the pros and cons to this card?
Is there a card y'all would recommend? Also when I get another card do I cancel the CSP or just leave the line of credit open?

If you cancel the CSP, you lose your ultimate rewards points unless you decide to use them all before you cancel or you have a chase ink
