I just got a target offer for the sky miles card. I would get it but I literally never fly delta

I'm no expert on average age of accounts, but if I was paying a fee on it, I would cancel it if you have a better than average credit score.
It's basically a battle between Aviator and Citi AA and the only reason I'd keep Citi is because of age. Both have fees although I'm paid up on both till December and that's when I think I will keep the Aviator. Or I may just get rid of both of the AA cards. Maybe do the Citi Plat biz but I don't see the 10% points back and I think it may have foreign trans fees. The reason I have the AA card at this point is because I fly them at least once or twice a year and the early boarding is nice. Not sure if it's worth $95 though. And I never use the free checked bag deal...

Will look into this one, thanks.
ETA: Looked into it, not sure I like points as much as miles coming from HI. Example, they say 50,000 points is worth a $625 flight. HI to NOLA is usually around $800+. But 50,000 miles would be more than enough to do that trip, should only be 40k.

United
Got the personal in August last year and am about to cancel that one. Maybe I should get the business one if they don't have a problem with that?
ETA: Looking into this one a little more. 50k bonus after only having to spend $2k vs $5k with the Ink. But I really hate United

You might also consider churning the BoA Alaska 25k point business and personal card given your location.
Alaska does have a good bit of routes here but I never use them. Maybe I would with the card.
ETA: Just looked into this one and don't like the awards chart I checked. Cheapest was 22,500 each way to NOLA. AA has that beat by 5k each way.
Sorry for long post, any thoughts after reading that on what card I should look into? The Prestige isn't a business card, right?

Is the 70000 ihg offer still up? I cannot locate a valid link
The 70k expired 5/31. It's 60k currently. You can get them to match it, just send them an email in your secured inbox once you get the card.

If the business version offered the same signup for the platinum I wouldnjump on it

Of course it did. Is 60000 their standard offer? I would like to wait another month before any apps but don't want to miss out. You think I could request 70000 in a month?

Not really sure what I'm looking for next besides Sapphire Preferred again. I'm pretty bad about just applying randomly too
I've had my Chase Sapphire Preferred for about 2 years. If I wanted to apply for it again, would I have to cancel my current chase sapphire preferred and wait a certain amount of time before reapplying?

Also, Chase UR transfer to Korean Air which offers 25k RT in coach from HI to mainland.

I just value AA points pretty highly.

I am going to take the wife on an extended weekend trip to NY in late July or early August. We will leave Thursday evening and fly back Sunday evening. I will be using United miles and Hilton points.
Any advice or recommendations to stay?

Depends on what you're trying to do. Are you trying to stay around the touristy midtown?

We really have no preference yet. The opportunity just came up with kids having babysitters. We never get away and just trying to take advantage. I need to burn some hilton points and united miles so I said why not.
With that being said, I believe touristy midtown is a good start.

Well Discover just dropped a bomb. Works for existing customers too. Earning 10% cash back on food, gas, holiday purchases is cray!
Have any existing customers had any luck requesting this? I've had the card for about a year and want in on it.

Ok, just got to decide if I want United again. Thanks.

So this would be the Ink Biz card transferring points to Korean miles, right? I looked on KA website and didn't see anything like that. Have a link you mind sharing?

I do too and that's why I'm considering the AA biz. The 10% back is really nice and if I drop my personal AA cards (1 no matter what) then I lose that going forward. Decisions, decisions

Is there any reason why I should sign both me and my fiance up for the Chase $150 checking account promotion then just have it as an "extra" account?
Same goes for the SUntrust $150 promotion too. Feel like a free 600$ between the two of us

I think you have to have direct deposit set up to that acct for some period.
Posted on 6/3/15 at 7:48 pm to Creamer
Is that all? Company let's me do multiple direct deposit bank accounts.

Definitely the place to stay if you're in for a quick stay and trying to do the touristy stuff.

Any good shows or plays?
The usual big shows that i'm sure you've heard of. You can always buy tickets at TKTS booths.
Avenue Q is a good off broadway play I usually recommend.

Don't get too caught up in the room and location honestly. You can get most places in Manhattan with relative ease using some form of transportation.
Most rooms are relatively small, and in NYC they are usually only used for getting yourself together and "sleeping". In the past, I've always used Priceline to book rooms in lieu of spending points and have paid anywhere from $120-$180/night. I generally find that a better value and have received some very nice hotels.
I am blowing my Chase Hyatt free nights this winter at the Park Hyatt NYC mainly due to bringing the kid with us and wanting a large room even by NYC standards.
