Hopefully they have been buying and not telling us, because I believe in the near future you won't be able to buy a sizable amount at the current price. Please stop posting until you go a spend several hours studying bitcoin and where it is today so that you can update your knowledge. Thanks!

I have researched and always come to the same conclusion. It’s a fomo trade. Same with some of the greatest most accomplished financial minds of our times as well as very knowledgeable people I talk to regularly.
I’m fine owning it as a fomo only trade.

My belief is that as long as there are people like you and others, the price will continue to increase but it’ll be volatile which is exactly what we’ve seen.

lol
True.

Lots of folks out there looking for the quick buck and Bitcoin certainly seems like the path du jour.

Can you explain why bitcoin is down so much today when the stock market is soaring?

What’s the correlation or disconnect?

Can you explain why gold is down today and what the correlation or disconnect is? Lol, bitcoin is up $6000 since Thursday and is open 24/7.

It went on a 12% run in the last week. People take profits. Zoom out.

If 1.2% is "down so much" for you then you need to get out of crypto.

Gold has a very long track record as a safe haven for bad economic times. Not sure I agree with that but that’s the pattern. It’s sort of a ballast for a stock portfolio.

Is bitcoin similar?

If so, how?

So you don’t know the correlation or disconnect.

I certainly will get out at some point. It’s a trade afterall.

What’s your exit point?

And what will you take in exchange for your bitcoin? USD?

Daily RSI on bitcoin was in overbought territory. Not so on the major indexes. That's all I got. I stopped rationalizing any crypto PA long ago.

Realizing it’s all you got but how on earth does anyone know if bitcoin is overbought or oversold or just right?!

If I was insecure about it, I’d avoid the questions too.

But I bet the questions linger in your head…

What he’s referring to is financial nihilism. Ironically, financial nihilism is a byproduct of broken money which is what Bitcoin was meant to fix.

I believe BTC could be over 250K by EOY, and MSTR near 2k.

I have said it before, BTC at 16K in Nov '22 was way riskier than 125K in June of 2025. The world has buy in now.

But why? What are people seeing that is making it move?? Ie...what news should we be looking at.

As of writing this it's at 104,500 so up ~1.5% for the day. Today's high in the 105,900+ range. So what is getting it to move is what I've been trying to figure out to feel more confident about getting in more than I have of MSTR and other ETFs that 2x it. Gold is done to 3200. Are they countering each other?? Who knows what "signs" are being watched other than "but feeling" gamble.

Probably the most successful ETF launch ever.

Bitcoin is math. Unless something breaks it, it’s on its way its to infinity relative to the dollar. I didn’t fall in love with bitcoin as an ideology. I used to actively root against it like Paradox. I’ve just got a decent mind for math and realized I was fighting gravity by betting against bitcoin.

If I can put all kinds of portfolios together with bitcoin that quantitatively smoke anything that would be put together without it then I have to assume that people with much deeper pockets than me are starting to do the same.
