Lol, I was a Buffet follower for years. His system no longer works with the kind of money debasement that has happened the last 5 years. Hell, he was doing subpar before he added apple in 2016. I am hopeful that his successor will add some strong tech companies. I believe they will have to if they want to continue to match the market. You guys are sooo behind. Lol, let me guess you still own US bonds in your portfolio .

Lol, i also look at what is in the portfolio. I invested in BRK-B for years, but I saw the writing on the wall.

Show me the high flyers the portfolio has. How is BRK-B doing for the year? What is it year to date? What has to do very well for it to just match the S&P 500 this year?

Now, what is in the portfolio that is going to do well in the future? Maybe Apple will do something new, I hope so, because that is the only way you are going to keep up. Surely you realize that 9 years you are talking about was mainly because of their ownership in Apple right? How do you think Buffet would have done the last 10 years without Apple?

Apple has averaged about 25% a year the last 10 years. I wonder how BRK-B would have done without Apple? BRK-B averaged about 13.6% during that time span. I don't know about you, but I don't see Apple keeping up with the rest of the bigger tech companies as the others keep investing and evolving. Evidently Buffet saw it too as he has sold tons of Apple the last couple of years. So, what is going to be the driver for your next 10 years? Do you even think about what the company invests in, or are you just I will trust Buffet with my future no matter what kind of guy?

you are all over the place. So take out the good investments and performance goes down? You don’t say.

In the last ten years BRKB is at 270% v SP at 160.

So yes. I am comfortable with a large chunk with them

Lol, I bet you are comfortable with using the wrong stats for the S&P 500. Look it up again

Brk.b owned a bunch of snow stock until last june when he sold. it has rocketed since the sale. WB when it comes to buying tech is hit and miss but then again we could all say that.

Certainly seems like BRK has some kind of bets against the market since the stock seems to rise on big down days for the overall market.

Yes, I would consider a heavy cash position to be an obvious bet against the market. BRK also likes to invest in businesses with solid cash flow and minimal speculation.

The future is AI stocks. When your holdings only account for apple and maybe a few minor positions in a couple more companies your returns are going to struggle. For the last 3 years non AI stocks have done poorly, I don't expect that to change in the near future or probably ever. AI will cause complete destruction. If the new Leadership doesn't start investing in AI I don't expect BRK-B to come anywhere close to keeping up with the market, probably will struggle to beat future inflation, assuming inflation rises when rates are cut and we run this economy hot like many expect

New to investing? I made plenty of money off of blues blood stocks like Apple and Berkshire, and will continue to do so. . Nvidia, too. It's a big world.

I wipe my arse with $100 bills. I just bought a $1M lakehouse with cash. I think I will stay the course. Thanks for your concern.

I currently have very little in bonds, but may add to them in the future. There is a time for them to be in your portfolio. Maybe you will understand one day.

Did you have a meeting about a new children’s book with Walter Hobbs?
