Oh damn, yeah. As somewhat of a Bitcoin Maxi, I’m glad I didn’t really get into Michael Saylor earlier, or I would have bought in. I ended up getting in around $500 a couple weeks ago after watching it for awhile. Dumb luck.

As far as BFARF, I grabbed some Fri. It’s a long hold for me, but I expect the road to be rocky. As with Crypto space in general. Heavy Crypto dump ongoing, otherwise I’d have thought it may pop Monday when the listing takes effect.

Nibbled a little more here today, thinking Crypto bottom may be close. China mining ban can only help.

You are me without the dumb luck

I'm a Saylorite and bought plenty at top.

Between this and HUT, there doesn't appear to be this instant NASDAQ valuation bump for the OTC miners that get uplisted. Thesis here appears to have been wrong and the broader crypto market state obviously didn't help matters. I did re-establish a small crypto position today with BRPHF.

If BTC has bottomed and turns the corner I think their first NASDAQ listed ER could be a winner.

Maybe. But this management team has made some pretty questionable decisions to date, so I’m not ready to have a whole lot of faith in them.

I’d be curious to hear everyone’s target on this. Originally, I thought ~$15, but I’d be happy with half that as things stand.

At some point these crypto plays are worth nibbling into again, but man it's a bloodbath out there.

Good to see this thing get some legs under it again, probably not getting me back to that $6 cost basis though.

I think anything under 4 is a great buy, and it will be profitable as a long term play. Crypto is in a major adjustment period right now, it grew too fast. In 3/5 years you will be in the money.

Yep, bought some more today to lower my basis. $3.80 ish now. I wonder what their break even price of BTC is when considering costs, etc…

This thing has been on a tear and has decoupled itself from BTC it seems. At least barring any significant moves by BTC. Up another 7% PM. Check out the monthly mined BTC. How’s that for growth?

quote:

Mining Production Highlights as of August 1, 2021

Mined 391 new Bitcoin during July 2021, Bitfarms’ largest monthly production rate achieved in 2021 and approximately 96% more than its mining production in January 2021. The Company is currently mining between 12½ and 13½ Bitcoin each day.

Mined 1,748 Bitcoin in the first seven months of 2021, the largest number of Bitcoin mined in North America as reported by publicly traded miners.

Deposited 1,678 Bitcoin into custody through August 1, 2021, representing approximately 96% of the Company’s Bitcoin production this year and valued at approximately US$69.8 million based on the July 31st closing price of US$41,626.

Bitcoin Production Update

As of August, 1, 2021, Bitfarms’ year-to-date Bitcoin (“BTC”) production by month was:

Month
BTC
January
199
February
178
March
221
April
232
May
262
June
265
July
391
As previously noted, recent macroeconomic events in China have increased Bitfarms’ market share and daily Bitcoin production rate substantially.

I started a position when I posted earlier on this page. I know nothing about crypto, but wanted a bit of exposure. I'm selling half at 100%, then hold.

It's up to $7.30 in the pre-market here. Good chance for any of y'all who bought in high to bail out with a gain made. Sorry that this pick sucked for so long. I would not recommend buying it at these levels. Government is coming after crypto soon I think....
