A scam?

I see all these ads about how you can make 300 into 3500 in two weeks

Or the shady western union money flip 200 into 2000 in 25 mins

How do people get away with this

The whole thing fits in the subject so just put it all there.

The question does not even make sense. The whole point is bitcoin has been and will always be decentralized so that no one entity can scam anyone else. Do you realize bitcoin has been around for 10 years and appreciated in value more than any other asset during that same timeframe?

Is the US dollar a scam because drug dealers kill each other to acquire more of it?

I’ve been posting about Amazon on this board ever since it was at $25 but I’ve never bought any AMZN shares.

Bitcoin is not a scam. But be very careful with 'Crypto Twitter.'

I (like many) bought the top. If I were to give any advice, it'd be to buy now...but slowly and hold. If you start getting into the altcoin market, prepare your anus.

How much should I buy? And how long should I hold onto it?

Buy what you can afford to lose. This time last year people were trying to catch knives with the Bitcoin pump. And it's funny that everyone wanted to buy Bitcoin when it was $18,000 and going up...but nobody wants to touch it now that it's sub $3,000.

Crypto Currency/ Digital Currency is here to stay. Like I said earlier, I'd start buying now and continue purchasing at a slow pace. Maybe take 10% out of each paycheck and buy more/ accumulate.

As far as when to sell...that's up to you. Do you believe in the fundamentals of BTC? If so...maybe you never sell it. Or if you just want to make more USD off of BTC, then sell when it's worth it to you.
