Still early for this tech. This is a good time for the folks that hate on it because they missed it "early" to get in.

Besides the fact it’s way down from where it was, how do you know this is a good price?

edit: Im a huge crypto skeptic, but I’m really trying to take an honest look at whether we’re getting to a point with these prices that a high risk small investment is in order.

If you didn't believe in it at 60k, why do you believe in it at under 18k?

I don’t, but I’m looking for a reason to. Eth seems to have a better case for value on its face than bitcoin but I’m just scratching the surface with learning about all this.

I mainly only believe in bitcoin. It's a decent price I think because you see the trend. It was omg, it dipped below $20 years ago, omg it dipped below $200 years ago, omg it dipped below $2000 years ago, and now it's omg, it dipped below 20k.

Yup. That's why btc only. Pow + lightning network is the future. Everything else is a gamble imo

I love this investment strategy. Why close the door on any investments unless it's illegal?

No one knows where the prices stops dipping. Bitcoin has only existed during the longest bull run in history. We have seen multiple 85%+ drops history. It's safe to start there.

21 Jump Street, I know you Bitcoin maxis shun everything else, but everything is running through ETH these days and these newer networks have tons of development on them that doesn't even exist on ETH and can't exist on ETH due to high network fees. It's why Solana is so popular - blazing fast and cheap.

Has BTC ever had this much leverage associated with it before? It seems like as margin calls start to come in that this could get much worse than any other sell-off/correction and I think it's going to leave some scars on investors that aren't going to heal anytime soon.

I get that. But lightning network fixes this for btc. Pow for security, lightning network for blazing fast speeds and lapps(similar to dapps)

You hit the nail on the head. And I will be there to buy the pieces. BTC absolutely did not have this much leverage in years past.

Never, hence why this crash is much worse than most expected

Is that just smart contracts on the lightning network?

When is the lapp update going live?

I used to be a skeptic, but like you, I did some decent research and found a lot to like. Look at it with an open mind. You may come to different conclusions than I did, but at least you did the digging.
