That is an entertaining thread in retrospect. Hopefully rocket re-reads it and learns from this... being both a douche and completely wrong is no way to go through life.

I recall CE Tiger also being heavily on Celsius. Hope he didn't get burned.

I'd forgotten that thread. I won't pile on too much because rocket isn't here to defend himself, bu damn, I asked him what protects my assets on Celsius, and then he tells me to read text documents explaining it, and then I pull out the Celsius ToS where it says, ""However, we generate interest rewards by deploying assets. When these assets are out of Celsius’s control, they can’t be insured by such insurance...circumstances may arise where losses or damages incur. In that event, we will use our balance sheet to cover damages." He then laughed at me.

I hope he got his stuff out in time because getting rekt is no fun, but it's hard to feel too bad when he was so arrogant about it.

Totally risk free, 12% return

I see I had some gems in there as well. Obviously he didn’t fully appreciate the risk of getting a 12% return.

Judging by his lack of activity lately, it doesn’t seem likely.

If memory serves me right, he at least had real estate investments to fall back on.

Perhaps, but I don’t recall him mentioning it much, compared to his vocal support of crypto

I caught one comment last year where he said he retired in his 20s from his early crypto investments and was keeping busy managing his rental properties

I thought he was at Ohio State around the time I was there (I graduated in 2008), and he joined right around the time OSU was playing LSU in the BCS Championship game after many of us discovered this site. That would put him in his mid-30s.

sorry man. Hope and pray that you get your money back.

Guy's, if you think you are safe with these cex's and cefi's, reevaluate.

They have your coins. You are screwed if crap hits the fan.
