I just own BITO etf and despite bitcoin tanking I am somehow getting paid out pretty sweet dividends. No clue how or why. But yeah, bitcoin makes no sense to me as an investment asset. Just bought some for a little exposure.

Sounds like every Bitcoin "investment".
We could go into why nav erosion for bito is by design. It's actually an income play and not exposure to Bitcoin. But I don't think you would care

Actually I would be interested. I only bought as much as I am willing to completely lose. It’s not going to make or break me, but just curious how these securities work. I was under the impression that BITO was a way for the avg Joe with a regular brokerage account to get crypto exposure similar to other ETFs.
