We should pray to Trump for this opportunity, everything was about to collapse right before he crashed the market.. Again

This market has been propped up by covid free money, billions upon billions of free PPP ppp loans that never had to be paid back, USAID money and NGO money being pumped into the system, even if going to fraudulent sources, it was still flowing into the economy.. Trump removed the USAID and NGO money. The market of the past 4 years was all fake. look at how out of whacks some of the PE ratios were. Company fundamentals or valuations meant nothing. All you had to do in your earnings calls was say Cloud 2-3 years ago, and AI last yeah and leading into this year.

The forward PE of this market based on JPMorgan estimates is lower than it was in 2020 pre-COVID crash.

Lots of people were telling everyone there was an AI Bubble. If you still kept money in stocks after the Deepseek release and also knowing Trump was going to use tariffs as a tool to try and force better trade deals for America then you have no one but yourself to blame

Thank you captain hindsight.

What needs to happen to pull us out of this?

Fed cutting rates a half point won’t do it and that runs a huge risk of exacerbating inflation while we wait for tariff-related inflation to take hold.

Strong quarterly numbers from…? Everyone reporting is seemingly predicting reduced revenues and uncertainty.

Rescind tariffs? Does anyone trust Trump at this point? We’d likely see a rebound of sorts but there would still be a bunch of money sitting on the sidelines waiting for this jackass to leave office.

With futures down this bad, the market won’t make it through the day without a pause or shutdown.

What a fricking disaster of an unforced error.

What are you wanting to be "pulled out of"? Why do you want overpriced markets as a status quo condition?

Wow and I thought 20% returns on the S&P 500 for every dumb frick out there was sustainable in the long run. I think the tariffs are dumb as hell but I can’t feel sorry for the entitled fricks who think they should be able to print money through passive investing.

I’m a Trump supporter but you are 100% correct. This is freaking disaster. Self inflicted 100%. With all the other headwinds the economy has at the moment, his timing and execution was deplorable.

VIX above 45 in overnight. Last time that high was COVID, before that, housing market meltdown.

Agree. If you want to get into something like this you’ve gotta be prepared and act like a statesman. I think a lot of this excessive panic stems from people not knowing how serious Trump is taking this.

As I said in other threads, I'd strongly consider waiting for reversal signals instead just buying the dip every day. There could be a lot more downside.

Just my opinion.. not financial advice lol.

So you called the Tech AI bubble but it took Trump tariffs to really get it going… and you want kudos?

The NASDAQ was down almost 11% following the DeepSeek announcement back in January, prior to any tariff implementation. Turns out the market is a house of cards when it’s bolstered by only 7 companies within the same sector. Color me shocked.
