Yesterday’s dip has been bought and now above 32. If you are a swing trader ZETA should interest you I think

a setup above 32 would mean no meaningful resistance above until 38. No guarantee but the chart looks pretty. We’ve not seen a red day resulting from any ZETA specific news, just overall market macro

SNOW crushed their earnings report yesterday and is way up. NOW is up. PLTR is up. Software is not going anywhere but winners are being picked

Zeta now trading at 5x sales. Fair value IMO.
Once we get positive earnings for trailing 12 months a more useful P/E metric can be calculated (forward P/E is about 25x) and I believe we will see 50 at some point before the end of 2027

That’s the re-rate. This is still a small fish in a big pond.

Thanks for the heads up on this stock. I didn't buy many shares but started with 4 calls for 1/27 and have been selling when it goes up and buying when it drops ended buying 12 calls total and finished getting out today for a total profit of $2300.

Wanted to add som calls today with the price down but got tied up with one of my rent houses that had a hot water heater go out and didn't get it done. Will try to get some more calls on Tuesday if the price doesn't spike.

Stephen Fiorillo (seeking alpha) on ZETA valuation

LINK
quote:

The market spent years valuing Zeta on what it looked like instead of what it was becoming. Q2 forced the first repricing and I think the gap between a 4.5x revenue multiple and an AI infrastructure comp set that starts at 7x closes in Zeta’s favor. I remain long ZETA and I’d be a buyer on any weakness between now and Zeta Live.

I do too. Remarkably the same people who were ahead of PLTR are “ahead” on ZETA, because the sticky FCF flywheel looks so similar.

a consumer targeting company will always face headwinds that an enterprise targeting company will not, however if the thesis plays out and ZETA becomes enterprise critical then the whole valuation proposition changes

At 7x right now ZETA would be at 50. At 7x in three years it might be pushing 100. That’s some serious opportunity

Also, two investors’ conference appearances back to back next week on 9/8 and 9/9. Hopefully some PLTR deal news.

It’s getting hard to stay bearish on this for the long term. If you trust management theres real cause for optimism

I’m going to buy more Zeta after Friday. It’s been solid since I bought in at $19 with what was planned to be a short hold. It’s the lone briight spot in my portfolio the past few weeks.

I have made bank on calls but only have 30 shares cost basis $19.55. What do you think is a good entry point on shares and also on 2027 or 2028 on calls. I have some dry powder and am currently loaded up on OUST and feel good about my position in NBIS although not averse to adding to NBIS at the right price.

there are two possible catalysts upcoming which could push the stock thru heavy psychological resistance at the current highs

-investor conference presentations this week where they could add some numbers to the PLTR go to market deal

-Zeta Live (annual corporate conference) in October where they “should” announce the roll out of AthenaOS their new enterprise operating system

Then, Q3 earnings on 11/3

I don’t trade options so I can’t help you there, and we need to be realistic that the stock price is right now approaching extension. I do think 35 is on the way so there’s 10% or so upside sitting there but after that it will probably take another big earnings beat. If at the Q3 call they guide to meet 2028 revenue targets in 2027 (a year early), which I think they will do, there should be another partial rating jump into the 6x or 7x range. That would still be low for an enterprise software company with positive and growing EPS and free cash flow

All that is to say, I would wait for any red day as support has been established at 31-32. Longer time frames are a bit more risky but LEAPS would give you more runway as this is still at the very early stages

My last buy was 10 shares at 28.75 so I may look at STO put at $30 weekly or buy 10 more shares around $30. The other option is buy some LEAPS and wait for the share price to go up hopefully.

I used my cash yesterday to STO 1 put at $27.50 for Friday, 1 3/27 $35 call and 1 $35 1/28 call. I think I will have some more cash on Monday so I am just watching the rest of the week.

pretty major support at 30-31, any fall thru that should be temporary. if it does fall thru and stay there then high 20's. it was a ladder going up, should be safe rungs below

Yes the premium wasn't very much but I would be happy to buy at $27.50. Will probably buy more calls next week because I am playing with house money on my calls right now. Hoping to have 5 LEAPS next week with the house money.
