I'm sure threads like this have been started in the past so SIAP

What's funny is that they are always 500k.

I feel like between here and the OT there have been like 4 or 5 threads asking what to do with 500k in the last month or two.

I do too

What’s funny is once I sell my house in Baton Rouge I’ll have the same thread.

Do you need ANY of it to pay your bills?

No
It doesn't sound like it so you should be good to invest. How old are you, what is your timeline for a great return?

40s

Or, are you simply wanting to preserve buying power? Do you own your a home?

Yes. Free and clear

Do you already own investment real estate?

Yes but would do more

Are you currently working and making out your 401k Roth and Roth IRA?

Yes. This is a IRA

These are the questions I'd ask and then tell you where to put it based on your answers.

I'd keep it in cash earning 5% right now but I'd drip some into the market too on pullbacks.

This, Bitcoin isnt going anywhere anytime soon.
China and Russia announced on March 5th of this year, to create there own payment system using blockchain technology. Along with all the BRICS nations, I think altogether there are currently 21 plus countries to denounce the USA dollar. Land, Precious Metals/Gold, and Bitcoin is what i would do.
Alot of people dont know that the USA government backs a crypto coin called Tether and is a stable $1 coin. So this is the future of transactions if you read the writing on the wall.
And if ya go down a deeper rabbit hole, alot of conspiracy theorists believes this is how they get one currency worldwide. NWO
Illuminati type shite.
But hey, if you think the government can print Trillions of dollars monthly, create more debt, and think the dollar wont crash worse than the great depression. Also with Chinas long game called the 50 yr plan, the slow play to crash our economy and destroy us from the inside out.
We make nothing in this country and import most shite, until we start another industrial revolution, were fricked.

Big difference in what you do is your age.

I’m old, so most of mine is fixed income generating.
