I was rolling as I watched that video. He looked exactly as I imagined someone who plays around on Silk Road would look like.
This whole bitcoin craze just oozes credibility at every turn.

I though he looked like someone who hasn't stopped playing Magic-the Gathering, and he was rolling in after a late night session.

What an anarcho-captitalist paradise we're all missing out on.

Note it was cold and snowing and he wasn't wearing a jacket - the fat deposits from his sedentary lifestyle keep him warm.

And that was in Tokyo where MtGox is headquartered. Just think how that fat white guy must stick out in a crowd there.

What regulations do you propose for a black market hosted on an anonymizing network (Tor) that facilitates pseudonymous transaction?

None. that's why anyone would be quite foolish to risk their real currency there.

Wow. Just for shits and giggles, I wouldn't mind picking up a couple for $1000 or less but once I saw the huge differences, I got even more confused. I'll just watch from the sidelines.

You're missing out. It's super easy and safe yet risky and difficult to do at the same time.

He's probably committed suicide since Bitcoinity.org changed its unit of measure to the mBTC, and it shows a unit price of $0.661 on the bitstamp exchange. LINK Either that or he is trying to figure out the math to determine what his Bitcoin holdings are worth.

There needs to be two prices listed on the exchanges.

The current trading price and how much they can actually give you.

Instead of "trading price" you mean how much USD will they take from you. Because they will not give you anything back. At least as of right now (still).

I thought it had already been revealed that the whole bitcoin thing is just a way for the Anunnaki to come back to collect their gold.

"Here, we'll give you these advanced technology credits for your gold..."

I mean, I'm not saying it's aliens, but...
