It's a mixed bag for me. 80% of my money is in the 401k and IRA #2 so I'm still positive for the year.

401k 2.92%
IRA #1 -.2%
IRA #2 2.87%
ROTH -1.09%

I like how half the people in this thread don’t care about their 401k ROR this year, but last year, each weekly 401k ROR thread was a race to see whose was highest

Retirement is a marathon, not a sprint. Dollar cost averaging (in other words "the market") is generally going to be smarter than any individual investor - now, one should start reallocating to lock in profits in the 36 to 60 month window prior to "no shite, I'm going to retire on X/X/20XX - but other than that - when the market is down, you're buying more - when the market is up, you're buying less - as long as you're consistent with your contributions - it will all work out.

You can downvote it all you want, that’s what the return is.

6.6% through yesterday. Good thing I randomly picked these three funds to post about on a message board.

1.93% 401k
1.80% 401k
1.11% 401k current
5.45% 457 happenstance bought on the dip I guess as it's the same fund as current 401k.

I need to merge my 401ks but Mint makes it easy to keep up with.

Btw I love 457 over 401k. It's the best of both worlds retirement account that can be tapped without penalty(pay income tax of course) as an emergency fund if I lose my job.

I'll keep updating the return only if it goes up.
