This was a bad offensive showing the last two days. With that said we only gave up 5 runs in these games. Playing at home for regionals will help I think. We need Curiel to get back to business leading things off.

You can go look up their box scores but the point is they are national seeds that went 1 and done in Hoover.
LSU played 2 games.

History has shown doing well in this tournament has no correlation with the remainder of the postseason. We looked like arse today at the plate, but this performance has nothing to do with the remainder of the season.

This is hyperbole. The way LSU is pitching right now they're one of the best looking teams bullpen wise with probably the best duo of starting the country. They're potentially getting more arms with Shores and Mayers controlling their heat as well. LSU is setup right now to even get out of a loser bracket if it comes to that due to how pitching is looking lately. All we need is average hitting and that will take you far.

Same for Texas and arky?

The only threads started by this mental midget are negative doom and gloom on our baseball team.
As if an Iowa fan has any fricking clue about baseball.

Agreed I'm seeing shades of Coastal Carolina, and Stony Brooke

We had hitters
Crews, white, Dugas, Beloso, Travinski, etc.

You mean the same Coastal Carolina team that won the CWS?

I watched one. Northwestern or something like that.

U dummy. That stopped the 23 team as well huh. They had a losing record in the SEC tourney as well. How did that go?

MS ST got ten run ruled in two games a few years ago and won it all. What happens in the tournament has no indication on what follows.

That’s still a problem though, right?

Here we go with this tired take

Jay Johnson did not go to Hoover to win the tourney. He went there to garner a 1-8 host spot. That was clear Friday with his pitcher choices.

You need to quit posting

I’d argue the pitching staff has a lot of momentum heading into the post season

I’m not sure, but Arkansas recorded the same amount of hits as we did against Ole Miss.
