He can’t balls on the outer half because of his size. Opposing teams now know that and will not pitch him inside.
Not sure why everyone thought he was the next coming of Eddie Furniss, he hit just above .300 with 13 homers last year at a small school.

Can Braun/Bide/Omar all play first? Seem like a 1B/Catcher/DH best 3 of 4 situation to me

Jake Brown to 1B.

Daniel Harden to RF. He needs to be in the lineup somewhere.

Because of a solo HR? Did you watch Wednesday when he had 3 K’s?

Not saying I wouldn’t mind see him get a few more ABs, but you frickers form opinions from watching 2 games and it’s annoying af

Didn’t he get one of our 3 hits yesterday? A double? On Ed occ GC our two RBIs?

He didn’t come through, but neither did a lot of other guys,

No. Because he’s a solid young player who needs development. Playing time gives him that.

I’m not a big believer in having a football lineman as a fixture in the baseball team. If it were viable we’d see it more.

Major outlier with this lad and he just isn’t doing enough at the plate to overcome being so poorly suited in other phases of the game.

If he isn’t absolutely killing the baseball like clockwork you can’t play him, period.

Jake Brown to 1B.

Putting the best arm on the team at 1st seems silly

Braun vs. Yorke BA - Braun + .009 SLG - Yorke + .149 HR - Yorke +3 OB% - Yorke +.043 With the exception of a tiny difference in batting average, Yorke is literally ahead of Braun in almost every offensive stat

Soooo this five page thread is pointless and based of an ill informed emotional poster starting a thread

The biggest difference is TB (total bases). Yorke’s TB is double that of Braun with only 50% more at bats.

You think he lacks discipline at the plate?! Wow, some of you have no idea what you are watching.

NO LIE!!!

Dardar leads the team with BB at 14. Milam and Yorke are tied for second at 13. The rest aren’t even close. Discipline.

It’s literally like no one dissing our players possess the ability to walk over to the LSU official sports website and simply look at the stats. They’re right there.
