As bad as he's looked offensively he's been good defensively, not great but I think you take a pretty legit step backwards defensively with Yamin, Pearson, Serna. Maybe Braun is a option but im not sure you are gaining anything. I think you just slide him down pretty far in the lineup and live with it.

I’ve only seen him in person in probably the worst slump of his career so this is probably an unfair assessment… but in those games he has genuinely looked like the worst baseball player I have ever seen.
The lateral movement of a snail at 1B. When the pitchers try a pickoff it seems like there’s about a 50/50 chance he even catches it. And at the plate it looks like a 40 year old dad 8 beers in at a softball tournament swinging for the fences every time

This was just a projection for him.
He said in an interview he didn’t play first in highschool.
