But I was more-so referencing the people who actually partake in playing the banana games, like Zach Watson.

If there's a demand for it, someone has to be the suppliers.

It’s pretty damn hard to make kid friendly entertainment if you don’t have grown men willing to produce it.

Get the stick out of your arse. Zach is getting paid to play a game and entertain kids in a wholesome manner.

You’re being an a-hole on the internet for free. Who is the winner here?

No it’s definitely cringe. That’s the point. You’re an a-hole for this comment:

Again, how does that make me an 'a-hole'?

Since it is cringe, like you've just admitted, then you should agree that it would be embarrassing if you were the one doing it. How could you live with yourself by working a job you're embarrassed by?

To me, in my opinion, they are no different than tik-tok dancers. Yes there is an audience for it. Yes, they are made for six-year olds and women. But grown men doing tik-tok dances is cringe, regardless of where it is they are doing it.

Can you read? Not just snippets but an entire comment. It was just a handful of sentences it shouldn’t be tough and I spelled out exactly where you were being an a-hole.

Barnie and the Power Rangers were cringe too but I’m not going to blame the actors for getting paid to entertain children.

It’s a job playing a game. Who cares. Plenty of people do jobs that are geared towards entertainment of kids/families.

Disney on ice may be cringe for a 40
Year old man to attend by himself. But the people putting on that production aren’t cringe for doing a job that entertains children

Somehow we are the problem tho lmao. Cringe for him to make money playing baseball. Couldn’t imagine a world where that is cringe.

You prolly some fat frick loser with nothing good in life to show for it.

[quote]The banana stuff is completely cringe unless you're 6.[/quote

If I were given a choice to play banana baseball or sit in a cubicle, I'm taking baseball 100% of the time.

I keep wondering the same but it keeps getting bigger and continues to sell out. Went to Savannah at the end of June to watch the Party Animals and Firefighters. Show was not as good as the Bananas but was still packed and we were totally entertained. I keep waiting for this to level out but so far it is not. Plain and simple it is everything that Baseball currently is not. It is fast, whole game less than 2 hours, and entertaining. There is always something going on to keep your attention. Not to mention with the price of admission you can eat as much as you want with Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Sandwiches, Chips, Cookies, Water, and Sodas. This is for Savannah only as road venues control the concessions. I can honestly say after watching a lot of Banana Ball it is hard to sit through a regular 3+ Hour baseball game.

I watched a few minutes of one of their games on ESPN, and though it's not my cup of tea, I can absolutely understand why they're popular with families who have children.

There aren't a lot of family-friendly activities you can share with your kids that are unique, fun and affordable. I would have loved going to these games as a kid.

Something that is cool as well is unlike the Globe Trotters the outcomes are not decided. You go to a game and you will see that in spite of the antics these guys are very talented baseball players and both teams are playing to win!!

Bananas sold out 3 games in March at Alex Box Stadium...there were over 160,000 people who requested tickets to those games. This was before the Firefighters started playing and before any players with ties to LSU. It is a show with baseball in the middle. You either enjoy it or you don't. I went, enjoyed it, but would never do it again based on the crowds and chaos of the getting into the game.
