Ok. Was there a point behind that research?

Makes you wonder what happen in the off season. Conditioning,Training and a outfield coach as a pitching coach?

Well one of them went and played in a summer league for nearly 2 months. Maybe it was that coaches fault?

Exactly. They run off to all these summer leagues with coaches who don't know their history, problems, instructions from other coaches, etc

And where is their pitching coach? Is he focused on just them? Or is he out recruiting/scouting other positions, which he is GREAT at?

someone used two months after the season like he went out and pitched 30 innings like some other guys do after two months.not a lot of innings for two months of summer baseball.just wondering why?

why cant you believe that after 5 guys with elbow trouble (AR,FG,CM,JB,JR)That just maybe there could be a problem.

If you've followed my history enough you'll probably believe it without me going into specifics. But again I don't really care if you dismiss it our not. You seem to not be understanding that.

Put me down as someone who does not believe you.

I think I was able to mostly understand that incoherent sentence. Your original post made it sound like they were working out with Grewe and I only pointed out that one of them went to play summer ball. I don't know why the coach up there only pitched him a certain number of innings. But obviously no problems developed for at least 2 months after LSU's season ended or he wouldn't have been pitching at all.

And BTW, I'm not saying we couldn't get someone in here that is better at working with picthers. But saying that if we had a different coach, none of these injuries would have happened, is a stretch IMO.

Yall do realize they are throwing damn near every day even though they aren't actually pitching game innings.

Not everyone, but I'm positive their are certain ones who have more strain on their elbow than others and need rest.

Bottom line, I think LSU's arm injuries aren't just freak coincidences, and if you do then that is your right to express.

I always love it when people admit to being ignorant on a subject yet insist on arguing a certain point anyway.

You are one of those guys who is missing the part of his brain that is is concerned with looking lile an idiot.

Because that would be pretty ignorant......especially considering Ranaudo has had arm problems since before he stepped on the mound at LSU and Garrett's situation is similar to Ranaudo. Jordan Rittiner is a freshmen who didn't pitch alot last year. I don't think you understand the randomness of these injuries. The only things you can really fault coaches for in these instances is overthrowing. And LSU wasn't guilty of overthrowing any of these guys.

It isn't due to overthrowing but there is someone to blame. That my friend is a fact.

Oh I'm far from ignorant on the subject of athletics and sports injuries, I've had my share.

I love it when ignorant people think you need to know the ERA of the 5th relief guy to know when something is not right in the program.

No real qb coach in football, and we have qb problems

No real pitching coach in baseball and we have pitching injury problems.

HMMMMMM...........think about it. Opinions aren't ignorant, what's ignorant is calling someone that without any logical explanation of your point.

Stretching, conditioning, use in practice/bullpens?

not saying any of these were done incorrectly, but certainly there are more factors than what we see on gameday. I have no idea of the reason, and it may be random....but when you add in the transfers it is odd.

So you're telling me that if he was having arm problems before he went to his summer league, he still would have gone up there and pitched anyway. OK.

Yep you nailed it! It's all Grewe's fault.
