Neither does it mean blind opposition. The level of misery this fanbase has reached is unproductive and rather embarrassing. I'm on record as being unhappy with the O hire and wanting a young, innovative OC but I'm not going to tear down the program because I Didnt get my way. I’m sorry I’m not going to delude myself into thinking this is a championship staff because it’s the staff we have. I’m not going to root for another team, just like I didn’t root for another team in 1992 when we went 2-9. I didn’t find another team to root for when Johnny Jones was hired even though I knew that was going to be a disaster

Sorry, I can’t undo years of experience watching and following football to just blindly think golly gee maybe this will work. There is Zero reason for me to think this staff will get us to an SEC title game. So I’ll root and cheer but I’m not gonna say this is anything better than an 8-4 program going forward.

There is (pardon the pun) ZERO justification for firing Miles to hire O. No way to make that smart.

When the decision was made, the hire HAD to be a slam dunk. ERGO, I'm categorically against firing O until Alleva is gone.

I was critical of Miles, particularly after 2011. I was critical of Cameron's entire offensive approach, particularly outside of 2013. I reluctantly supported a change, having no inkling that Alleva would actually eschew:

1. Bidding for talent

2. Negotiating


... and then have the unmitigated gall to ADMIT these things in public.

But, I don't want the team to lose to get that incompetent boob fired.

I have 1 football team.

I never thought this day would come and predicted that it would not happen. I was wrong in thinking, surely O won’t do this...well he proved me wrong.

With the choice made, I will step back and withhold judgement until we see how the offense actually performs. Hopefully, E succeeds and things turn out awesome.
