If Schroyer is selected, LSU is legitimately fricked. The fact that he’s even being considered should prove to you that the people in charge now don’t have LSU’s interests in mind. Those people are gone.
This is going to happen. You people who screamed you wanted Woodward gone … be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

Have not once asked for this. Woodward was literally a good AD. This is going to backfire tremendously.

The rumor is that he stole some ole baw's wife in LC
I know enough about those I am speaking on behalf of to say this:
God forbid someone be unhappy in their marriage. They should have to stick it through in misery or be stoned to death. Stone the divorce attorneys, while at it. Hell stone all the damn attorneys!
I don’t agree with divorce, but I’m also not in a troubled relationship to know what it’s like to be miserable.
Though I do know for fact that is not true. Schroyer didn’t steal ole baw’s wife. Ole baw was abusive and his ole lady had to make a hard decision after no sign of betterment.
If you care to do so, go look up Ole Baw’s criminal record—multiple assault & battery charges, most involving different individuals/victims, it’s clear, ole Baw’s got temperamental issues.
Schroyer came in post separation, so far all seems to be working. happy to see others happy in their life.
If that don’t work, I guess you try again, kind of like changing coaches until you find the one that can do the damn job. lol

Anything south of alexandria and west of the atchalaya needs to just go to Texas.

AD: Josh Brooks - current Georgia AD
Josh Brooks has already made it clear—he is not pursuing this position. Though I do agree he would make for a solid choice.

No need looks like Lake Charles will just moving into BR…..or better yet onto LSU’s campus LOL

Take it how you want. I’m not here pretending to break any news. He’s impulsive and hard to work with to the point he wants to have a say in who is on the field from what I’ve heard. McNeese football was improving significantly recently then the coach is fired after only a couple years.

If this is the AD choice we are fuuuuuucked. He would be brought in to be a hatchet man and slash budget. Goodbye any real chance at success in any sports in the current NIL landscape.
Can you explain what makes you say this? He has helped secure 2 naming rights deals for the McNeese football stadium and the basketball facility, which are huge for a university like McNeese that doesn’t have the resources that some schools do.

committing adultry
Not a unique tale, but an AD sleeping with a married member of the media seems a bit unethical.

Oh wow! He got a naming rights deal!!
This is no different then when people wanted Billy Napier as LSU football coach. G5 and FCS personnel are simply not ready for the magnitude and responsibility that comes with a flagship university. The university deserves someone with better qualifications and experience. Going from Woodward to Scroyer would be such an unbelievable downgrade. I don’t think LSU would recover. We’re talking 90s level incompetence because we let a little ULL man in the governors office go on an ego trip. Apparently everyone’s okay with it because he likes Trump

Again, false.
Schroyer has not once interjected or controlled any sport or coaches operation since becoming AD.
In fact, he has made it very clear that he is not going to micromanage. His stance has been to let whoever is hired to do the job, actually do the dang job.
Even with Aiken, who succeeded Schroyer (yes terrible choice), delivering the worst MBB record in the program. Schroyer never stepped in once to say “do this instead of that”. Aiken didn’t perform, he got fired. Simple.
Goff, no different than Aiken, failed at his job, lacked in more ways than one but most of all his own players didn’t feel passion & care under his presence and direction.

Dude the players carried Goff off the field after nearly every win. I’m not going to argue about it though. You do what you gotta do.

I’m not arguing that he should be LSU’s AD, I agree it would certainly be a downgrade but I’m just saying the man has done an incredible job of raising money at a school that gets very little financial or community support. He is not a “budget slasher”.
Posted on 11/1/25 at 3:13 pm to Ellis_Hugh
Josh Brooks said publicly what any bigtime AD would say. He has a top job now at UGA. He is not pursuing LSU but LSU could and should pursue him strongly and primarily. After Josh, get a power 4 school's AD and NOT the dude in Lake Charles or Hammond.
As for President, I do not like any of the choices strongly.

To clarify, I’m not saying it’s happening.
I’m saying I’m not even going to entertain a discussion that this would be a net gain for LSU, if that’s where this ends up.
