ETA: because if it was "reasonable" to think we'd go 3-9 after the Troy loss, I think it's pretty fricking reasonable to say they had a pretty damn decent season after going 9-3

People like this jerkoff have added their own spin to transitive logic. If it makes LSU look bad transitive logic is air tight but if it shows LSU in a positive light it doesn’t count. These retards do this with everything, there’s not one of their narratives that isn’t a double standard.

Let it go. Started the season rough and then they figured it out. Lots and lots of teams didn’t figure it out and had garbage seasons. LSU had a fine season.

I hate the whole, "eat crow" phrase because no one will ever actually eat crow.

The lowered expectations are real. In a down SEC year, we get blown out by State and lose to Troy, and we are now to celebrate this.
Am I happy the Tigers won all but one of their remaining games, you bet. Was this season a success? frick no.
