FACT.

I wish people would be GRATEFUL for what we have, the kind of men who run the program, and channel that excitement INTO the program.

Acknowledge and criticize the errors made, but without all the DRAMA QUEEN ULTIMATUMS .

Instead , the element of our fan base that would run screaming from the foxhole, sucks all the LIFE out of the program.

The only way relying on winning big to make it fun is if you dominate year after year. Florida fans got used to it (and it was working) in the 90's until the Zooker took over. Then it wasn't so "great ... to be ... a Florida Gator" even though they were having pretty decent seasons for most college football fans.

They made a change that has, so far, worked. However, Meyer has had Tebow for 4 of 5 years now. We'll see how they do next year. I'm not prognosticating a bad year, just very curious how the post-Tebow era is.

Meyer also has had 2 9-3 seasons in his tenure and the 2007 one brought a lot of pain in Gainesville.

So, I'm a dumbass for wanting to see LSU have great seasons every year?

The guys who say, "what happened to just having fun at LSU games when we had 6 win seasons".

Its like, they don't care if LSU falls back into mediocrity. Don't you want the program to keep succeeding? Why should anyone settle for less? Doesn't it make everyone else happier to see us rolling to success? To be feared?

Its not like LSU is a rebuilding program. They're at the top, the fanbase expects them to stay there. Why shouldn't we?

It's the BS that disappears from this board when LSU wins. As soon as a loss occurs, or heaven forbid, a lower tier team plays us close, all hell breaks loose and you cockroaches come back into the light.

Gotcha, mediocrity is the new standard. I will inform the tards. In the past we didn't know what it took to be elite. Just prayers. Now we have seen and a basis to compare. Although it is often blown way out of proportion.
