When the hurricane slaughtered SE Texas last year (Port Arthur, Baytown, etc.), we had 75 Texans come and stay in the shelter at our church. They stayed about a week and were very gracious. But please take note: they came to Louisiana for help! So it's not all a one-sided coin with the "Katrina evacuees came to Houston and tore the place up" thing. I have no hard feelings against Texas, but some of those posters are just plain ridiculous.

I believe there is some confusion on that board about this and many other things. It's not terribly clever, either, and I would highly recommend that they not mess with our voodoo queens. It's just not smart. I have my Longhorn doll and pins ready to go.

having grown up in new orleans and seen all the "i don't drink, curse, dance, or smoke" texans come to bourbon street and end up second-lining with a hooker in one arm and a hurricane and a cigar in the other hand....biggest bunch of hypocrites i've ever seen

3/4 of Texas belongs to Mexican savages, but they are right about having economies in Houston, Dallas and Austin something La. just doesn't have that's why folks keep leaving when they graduate.

I am not naive enough to think Louisiana is the best place in the world, we have a whole frick load of problems and issues in this state, but I love living here and love this state and I fricking hate Texas and would never want to live there. frick that state and their high and mighty attitude.

I spent a year one week in La.

Slept along the river in that big park by the boat.

Was constantly sloshed out of my mind.

Made out with lots of fat chicks and probably some fat guys as well.

Lost multiple pieces of clothing in gutters.

Ate 30 or 40 Krystal burgers a day.

Good times, I tell ya.

+1
Pulling a few posts off the Texas site and pretending they represent the views of the entire state is stupid.

Having said that, I think the attendance of LSU fans vs Texas fans at the game last night speaks volumes for the passion of the fan bases. UT fans have always been "blue-blood", corporate types who show up at games because its the "cool thing to do." LSU fans live and die with their teams, across all levels of society.

What Texas don't understand is LSU is expected to be in Omaha every year. Tiger fans make reservations every year. This is vacation time for them!

Let them have this folks. It's all they've got other than the knowledge that tomorrow they will wake up having lost the College World Series to LSU.

Their tears taste like vagina.

Pretty much the kinda responses you would expect when you go to their board and provoke them. We get pretty riled up on this board when fans from other states come and post dumb shite.
