No-its not. Until he has a losing season, his seat won't even get hot. Just because some of the fans think he should go, its not happening this year. He has shown he can make changes if needed. He may have to make some this year but he isn't going anywhere unless Jerry Jones who likes him a lot tries to get him in Dallas!!!

Criticism is fine but you can't possibly admit any of the criticism on this board is constructive. It's nothing but personal attacks and hate. There is a difference.

He won't be fired. He saved Crowton's sorry arse last year just so he could throw him under the bus this year and save himself. Maybe with a great OC we can relagate Les to a manager type coach and let the OC and DC run the games with Mettenberger running the offense.

i think a lot of guys are like me - not critical, just venting.

i have to admit i like les. i am not that crazy about him as a head coach, though. he's just out of his era, imo. 30 years ago he could have been a great one. good guy, likeable, definitely has his strong points.

i have not been calling for his head. he's not going anywhere. frankly, it could be worse. it's just a shame that he is able to bring in a lot of talent and not do much with it.

very frustrating. and that is what i hear mostly on this board. the frustration.

Yes-it could be a lot worse and I for one don't think he's a bad coach..he's never been blown out-In most of the games we won, we were in it till the very end. Yes, he may be a bit old fashioned but the game is still the same-you have to block, tackle, pass, run, catch and kick-and yesterday, the blocking, tackling, and catching was horrible.

Saturday was very frustrating and with a better gameplan we could have won the game for sure, but a loud few of the members here go way overboard.

I was just as upset after the game yesterday and for the first time in as long as I can remember I did not even watch the post game stuff or listen tro interviews. All that said people calling for his head have no clue. I want to know who they have in their back pocket to replace him and do better.

It is like someone quitting their job because the boss sucks before they have a new one lned up. That will make things worse before it got better.

We need to all relax and see how it plays out. If he takes this team to 11-1 to 9-3 then he will have done as good or better than mostr expected. Worse case he goes 8-4 and then we can start talking.

His job is not in danger simply because LSU is undergoing major budget cuts, more so than any other university in the country.

It'll be a disaster PR move for LSU to fire miles and pay his 14Mill buyout then hire another coach for 4M. Even though the athletic and university budgets are seperate it'll get a ton of bad press.

PR????????

Was bama worried about PR when they fired shula who was handicapped with scholly losses due to their habitual cheating.

Were they worried about PR when they backed up the truck full of money in $abuns yard while he was under contract with Miami.

PR......PR........Cmon Man......are we really talking about PR?

It's not and it sure as hell won't be if we win out, certainly beating Bama.
