With all that Lane has been able to accomplish in such a short time and the attention LSU is getting and now the former ole miss tight end who is probably going to end up here from the NFL (when Ole Miss thought he was going back to ole miss) you just have to sit back and smile. We are light years away from a year ago!!

We were hearing Georgia Tech because our staff while they may have talked to him, didn’t aggressively pursue him because the team had moved on.
Clearly LSU and Kiffin saw a need and Wright fills that need

Looking back, hard to fathom we thought Brian Kelly would be the best hire and possibly become a coach of lore. What a wasted era, with the Alabama win being the one signature. Covid never happens and I’d like to think O could have made it a few more years.
The program SEEMED to be in dire straits and Kelly’s resume just stood out. He was never going to be a fit in South LA. His decision to eliminate the Gridiron Club and turn the radio show at TJ Ribs into a bore were telling signs. Also, wouldn’t take pics with grandkids and fans at the show? Not a mix with the culture, despite the attempt to sound like Jed Crockett at the PMAC intro.
