LSU has been THE program everyone has been talking about for a year now. That contract was a bargain.

Ohio state has the most expensive football program in the nation. Took an L last week from a top 10 team.
Oregon has the second most expensive football program in the nation. Took an L from an unranked team last week.
Texas has the 3rd most expensive football program in the nation and looked lackluster against UT San Antonio.
Texas A&M is right around, maybe more than LSU and lost to an unranked team last night. At home
LSU got beat by a top 10 team. At their home, admist tons of drama, with their ineligible QB who probably wins the Heisman. I know it dont make it feel any better.
But theres other teams that are stinging ALOT more than LSU right now for the money they spent and the product theyre seeing

Dude you can critique shite all day. Quit acting like lsu had paid players and ole miss was grambling. Ole Miss has a $40M roster themselves and was at home with the returning best QB in the country. There’s a reason it was supposed to be a competitive game. If anything it was a must win for ole Miss unless the judge getting Chambliss more years.

Not only that but like half of the handful of the top most expensive teams in CFB are sitting with 1 loss right now and several of them got out of a couple games by the skin of their teeth.

People need to stop throwing the price tag of our roster around. Most of the teams were competing against our paying similar, including ole Miss and oh yeah our coach built that roster too.
The loss sucks and I’m pissed but I don’t feel like the program is in peril or anything . Long term, we’ll be fine.

LOL. No you don’t HAVE to win that game. But you do need to learn and improve from that game. As bad as they played they had a chance to tie the game on last play on the road against top 10 SEC team with maybe best QB on the country. If you are going to lose a game this is the one. Not TAM, TX or Bama at home. If they learn from this loss and improve then we’ll be fine.
